    WotBS [wotbs] masochistic pc

This is pretty cool. Problem is that I have a party that has at least 2 PC's that would probably fight to the death to see who would eat it forst. I will have to arrange fro them to find this soon.

    Necromantic cheese anyone? (Possible Spoilers!!)

    Cheese! Glorious Cheese!

    The Amazing Spider-Man (SPOILERS BEWARE!)

I will be taking my kids to see it this week. I wish I was looking forward to it more.

    WotBS [wotbs] masochistic pc

GAS. He has constant gas. Slightly painful at times, but it is constant enough that sneaking can be effected, and he "bubbles" when he swims.

    Favorite Simple GM Plots

The Thing is an awesome movie! I like to have an NPC group already assembled. This works best with low level players. The established group is looking to take on some new blood to suppliment their numbers. The PC's are to keep back and learn. First thing they learn is that the guys in...

Bags of Holding, how much can they hold?

Very cool diagram, but who is that chick? She is a hottie!

Why are people not interested in RPG?

I play, and I am open about it. I am not the typical gamer. When I tell people that I play RPG's, Heroclix or other stuff, they usually say "really? You dont look like the type". I take that opening to tell them that not everyone that plays games like that are like the stereotype. Not every...

Why are people not interested in RPG?

I agree. Is he supposed to wear a suit? I'm not a big fat guy, but I might be someday. In the mean time, I wear t-shirts everywhere I can get away with it. Be careful on that one. Firing people for what they do in public - when NOT on company time can get you into some pretty big...

Should I punish my players with a high CR encounter

You could have them help them, but harm them in not too bad ways. Like when they are sneaking you can hear a child say "Boo" or simple innocent things like that till they are laid to rest.

    [June] What are you watching?

Transformers. The original animated series from the 80's. Watching it with my kids is far more fun that the first time around.

    Introduction to villains and clues

I like to make the villian an NPC who is close to the PC's. Perhaps that NPC cleric healer. And isnt revealed until the PC's have had their butts handed to them, and they REALLY need some healing. Thats when the cleric turns on them and leaves them to die... after dropping hints as to his big...

To Kill or Not to Kill (PCs): That is the Question...

A death every once in a while keeps them all on their toes. And makes them really think when their hit points start to dwindle. Thats when the PC's really get crafty. Thats what makes the game for me.

Why are people not interested in RPG?

I know that having both of my sons (and soon my daughter I'm sure) play have given them not only a game, a thing to teach them things they might never have thought to find on their own. I picked up the original D and D red box basic set and it got me thinking about the different medieval armor...

Why are people not interested in RPG?

Thats exactly what I meant! ME: "Want to play D&D?" Some 18-20 year old: "Sure, will you be online later? What server?" Me: "I meant the table top game." Some 18-20 year old: "You mean a lan game at home?" Me: "Can I talk to your parrents?"

No more buckets of snails (not a house rule)

    Introduction to villains and clues

Give a few clues. If they don't pick up on that, give them some more. NPC's can let things slip.... if not, you can just grab one of them and tell them what you have been hinting at. In my experience sometimes you have to let them know that there are clues being dropped so that they know to...

No more buckets of snails (not a house rule)

I would allow it. Then I'd have that character go up against a dozen or so characters with those feats AND some hefty magic items. The saying at my table is: "Anything you can use, your opposition can use against you."

Why are people not interested in RPG?

Weird. The only groups I have played with in the last 10+ years have been adults (30's to 40's) or adults with their children. I have a group I play with now where we have 3 males and 2 females in the 35-45 year old bracket and 5 boys aged 16 to as young as 6. My experience with people of...

    Evil Socities in DnD

I'm running an evil campaign right now. My players captures a gnome who has a permanent invisibility 15' radius cast on her and a permanent silence spell as well. They have a ring of regeneration on her. They have been cutting off a finger for each of them to have those powers for themselves...
