Oh good, that's how I was hoping they meant it. I was just tripped up by their use of "or" rather than "and," which is why I thought it might be a choice.
I need a bit of rules clarification from the community. For the Druid's Primal Order ability, the 2nd sentence of the Magician option says, "In addition, your mystical connection to nature gives you a bonus to your Intelligence (Arcana or Nature) checks." Does this mean you have to choose...
Huh, you're right. I wonder where I got the version that I downloaded to my computer from 🤷 Unless they updated it after I downloaded it.
EDIT: I figured it out. I never downloaded the new form-fillable sheets precisely because they didn't shrink the text to fit the box. I think I still...
A couple more issues with the official WotC versions that I noticed:
1) the field where you put your spellcasting ability (above where you enter the actual numbers) is not form-fillable.
2) the fields at the top of the spellcasting sheet for your “total” spell slots are also not form-fillable.
I have to admit, I'm completely surprised at the number of people's groups that reroll initiative each round. I figured some groups did it, but, before reading this thread, I never would have predicted just how many do it.
I've never been a fan of rerolling initiative because:
A) I have a hard enough time tracking initiative at the beginning of combat. To have to do it each round would make things more tedious.
B) Players quickly learn the initiative order and can then plan their next turn before it arrives...
Most of these a would pronounce the way you do.
As you mentioned to @Parmandur, I would say "FAN-duh-lin"
My instinct for Euryale would be "yur-ee-ALE"
I think for Kas, I would pronounce it "KAHSS", but that might just be my Boston Accent bleeding through (Car is pronounced "CAH"), despite...
Oof! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. We just began converting our 2014 characters to 2024 this weekend because my daughter's friends hadn't been over in a while. I'll blame them (they're not here to defend themselves ;) ).
I finally got around to using these over the weekend, and I noticed that, in the Skills section, you have Perception (CHA) instead or Perception (WIS).
I guess you have thought about it a little bit. ;)
I never played Pathfinder, so I'm not sure how faithfully Matt's Gunslinger subclass compared to its Pathfinder class predecessor. I did try to convert it to a homebrew Marksman subclass using bows and crossbows, with Misfire becoming...
If only there were other things characters could do in combat besides dealing damage, like . . . I don't know . . buffing, debuffing, healing, crowd control, etc.
Since they're form-fillable PDFs, you don't need to print them out. Just type directly into the PDF, click "Save as..." to give it a distinct name, and then open it up on your computer during the session.
If I had to make a determination for this in my game, I would say that a "Spellcaster" is anyone who has either the Spellcasting or Pact Magic class feature (or subclass feature like the Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster).
I finally got around to listening to this interview. Towards the end, you mention your love for the Gunslinger class from Pathfinder. Have you ever seen Matthew Mercer's adaptation as a Gunslinger Fighter subclass that Taliesin Jaffe (Percy) played in Season 1 of Critical Role? If so, what...
Interestingly, they removed the word "walking" from before "speed." Technically, the way it's written, the boots should increase your Climbing, Flying, Swimming, and/or Burrowing speed as well (it they're below 30 to begin with).
