D&D 5E Which Virtual Table Top are you using right now and what do you like best about it?

I use Foundry for online games. Wanna give a huge shoutout though to Arkenforge. It is a great program if you are running a TableTV and has very good mapping functionality. I feel like Arkenforge should be better known and deserves some recognition.

    Are You Burned Out?

The only time I feel like not running is when I'm too burnt out from working. Covid-19 has bumped me from 40 hour work week to 60-70 hour week and I'm really starting to feel rundown from it.

Pathfinder 2E Taking20's Illusion of Choice - Breaking it Down

That's kinda the jist of it but I hate how this video gives the absolute worst examples and uses only basic combats with nothing else other than standard combatants. I respect his opinion but most PF2 people will disagree and have actual factual evidence to back up why he's wrong about certain...

Your Favourite Tabletop RPG Podcasts of 2020

Respectfully disagree with GCP coming in second. Production values and actual entertainment in my opinion are leagues above The Unexpectables. Since it's 2020 and everyone cries about opinions I will state that this is just my opinion. ( Congrats to the winner though)

Pathfinder 2E Taking20's Illusion of Choice - Breaking it Down

I have a bias because I am a PF2 GM but I love the system. Combat in any system can get boring if the GM doesn't let players use creative actions but it is by no means a illusion of choice system. The fact that classes can have a somewhat locked in set of action is prevalent in almost all RPGs...

Make Your Fantasy Inns and Shops Remarkable

Just the Shops book, but will pick up the Inns book too when my LGS restocks it.

I bought this book, I like it. Would recommend.

Spectacular Settlements Bring Dungeons & Dragons Home For The Holidays

I’m really on the fence with this book. The Amazon review I read was pretty in depth and very negative. Without going into too much detail the major complaint was that everything was very basic and unimaginative. Agree? Disagree? Why? This book in Canada is a 80$ purchase so wanna do my due...

Pathfinder 2e Character Chronicles: Matthew Lillard & Paul Shapiro (Beadle & Grimm)

Thats what I was thinking. I GM PF2E and the player deaths I have seen would make these books pretty useless if they are a single use product. They are however a very nice looking product.

Pop-Up Terrain: Is This The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread?

I think it's a good idea as well, definitely would be easier to store.

    Gamer Milestones

The best investment I've made with my gaming room is to put the tv into the table and just project the maps through Arkenforge software. This has saved me so much time and money buying/printing maps and allows me to add effects or place spells like ice walls easily onto the map. I love terrain...

RPG Evolution: Take Care of Your Players

I have players in my group that are from different walks of life that I have gotten to know that otherwise I never would have.

Worlds of Design: How RPG Tools Have Changed

I use a table tv and mixture of pawns and minis. I also use a commercial grade sound system you can partially see for sound effects and music. Crit cards and monster cards. This has a higher entry cost and a partially larger prep time but my games are highly rated by my players. I have never...
