Never heard of it. Looked at the winners and again I don't really think some of these awards for the industry are really relative to what is actually being purchased or the best products. Contrast paints I do agree with however, they were a great product that sold well. This is just my opinion.

Starfinder really is a gem of a game and this book really fixes the whole starship combat conundrum the system faced.

Try out Heroic Maps or Forgotten Adventures or Seafoot Games. Cze and Puku are a bit more cartoony but one of the more popular mapmakers. I agree that 0one and Dyson Logos are just too basic and lacking to my liking.

That is very true. However quite a few of the mapmakers out there were making 5K+ way before COVID. DungeonDraft has also done pretty good for the mapmakers who do their own assets for use in it.

I think its the same reason we will spend 150$ at some home store for some crappy piece of wall art but only spend 20$ for a best selling novel. The visual is perceived as having a higher value than the written.

Yeah you can turn up difficulty. Turn based is alot easier.

I did play 1E for years then started with Starfinder and have no moved on 2E. My only opinion on the matter is that people should try before they outright dismiss it.
