    ICv2's Top 5 RPGs for Spring 2020 - D&D 3PPs In The Chart!

Thats fair but it also a not a steep learning curve to go from a d20 game to another d20 game. PF2 is pretty easy to learn the basics but it does have some serious crunch to it as well. I did check out some of the Ennie winners and other than the Alien RPG I wasn't really impressed with the...

    ICv2's Top 5 RPGs for Spring 2020 - D&D 3PPs In The Chart!

Yeah I feel like most people who aren't on the 2E train just haven't spent any time with it or just are not having an open mind to enjoying it.

What game do you recommend that is better to you than PF2?

    ICv2's Top 5 RPGs for Spring 2020 - D&D 3PPs In The Chart!

I think Paizo doing the Humble Bundle with a physical rulebook wasn't the greatest sign as far as people playing and sales numbers but what do I know. Hopefully that coupled with the recent APG release makes it catch on. I think their biggest hope as a brand lies with the Kingmaker PC game...

    ICv2's Top 5 RPGs for Spring 2020 - D&D 3PPs In The Chart!

I have to say after playing Pathfinder 2E that for my group that is the perfect game for us. The three action economy and the way all criticals are done with degrees of success is just a good system. Combat is tactical but not overcomplicated and very fast.

Congratulations to the 2020 ENnies Winners!

I would take the awards more seriously if these other publishers products were in it. I'm not going to naughty word on these winners and I am going to check out the Alien RPG but the fact this is more like an "Indie" award does take away something whatever that may be.

Congratulations to the 2020 ENnies Winners!

Is there a reason they do not submit their products?

Congratulations to the 2020 ENnies Winners!

The Monsters Knows book was great and some of the supplements like Loke Battlemats I loved as well. I play Pathfinder 2E and love it and thats what matters to me. I am going to check out some of these other games but I still feel like the Ennies should be more inclusive of the bigger name titles...

Congratulations to the 2020 ENnies Winners!

I've never heard of or seen almost all of these products. Should I be delving more into these obscure RPGs?

D&D 5E Orion Black No Longer a D&D Designer [UPDATED!]

Sorry that I don't read as much as I should or participate as much as I could. I play Pathfinder 2E not DnD so I don't have the knowledge of DnD to talk about the system with any opinion or expertise. It is always been my opinion that everyone should be paid and compensated for their work based...

D&D 5E Orion Black No Longer a D&D Designer [UPDATED!]

So someone with almost zero professional credits and a very short work experience with a company? Sounds like someone just looking for attention, especially after quickly reading said persons twitter.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #2

I agree and I hope when kingmaker hits consoles in August that Paizo gets some of the live from industry expansion. PC game was a hit but doesn’t have the same broad audience that console will touch.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths

I also support some of those map makers you listed and they do take in excess of 5-10k a month in a few cases. Maybe we are valuing art more than the written word and doing a disservice to people like @Owen K.C. Stephens and others for their craft by not supporting them similarly. That said I’d...

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #2

Games workshop has increased there prices how many % and they have turned into a juggernaut with unreal profits. I get that they have a product which isn’t as easy to pirate though. I’d happily pay more for my RPG stuff from Paizo if the employees of that company would see more of that money...

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths #2

@Owen K.C. Stephens What can us as the consumers do to enact change in the industry in a positive manner???? I support some creators on Patreon that make maps that I like and I purchase not pirate any gaming apps I use. Do you feel the problem lies just in the fact that RPGs in general do...

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths

I don't mind it but when the price keeps going up and up til a single figure can be 20-30$ it's getting a little out of hand.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths

You get so much of enjoyment out of an RPG for the 60$ the core book ends up costing. Way more than that 1700$ army that took you 600 hours to paint that paid for a GW employee to buy another BMW. ( I know a few of these guys, they aren't in anywhere close of the same boat as the RPG guys )

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths

Interestingly enough James Jacobs I would consider you my favorite writer for TTRPG and I've asked you more than once when we are going to see another AP written by you. Watching Owen talk about Starfinder on the podcast is what got me into Starfinder.

Owen KC Stephens' Tabletop RPG Truths

I was sad when Owen left Paizo, I enjoyed his personality and was my favorite guest on the old Paizo podcasts with Dan. I don't get the feeling that much or anything that he wrote is actually not true.
