Yeah I have no issue with what he said on a personal level. More power to him. I even agree. But as someone who does a lot of hiring I could never hire someone who so publically and profanely went after a former employer. Because it may be my organization next if they become disenchanted.

I love his optimism but I think he is in for rude awakening. Communications for political entities and government can be very thankless and soul sucking. I have some experience in this area. Let’s see how he feels in a year or two.

I like interweaving the cosmology into the PHB. Makes it less sterile and brings things to life. I am a fan of initiative scores for monsters too. I will probably still roll it the old fashioned way but I like that I have that option for situations when time is short and I bet it makes...

I wanted to love 7th Seas so much. I love the art and the premise but I backed the previous kickstarter and my players hated the system.

I would love a Fey focused book but I think with a Thay adventure in the wings an undead themed book seems more likely first. Maybe a Szass Tam‘s guide to Undeath to go with a Thay adventure.

Sounds like you made the right choice for yourself. I don’t think the term ‘seasonal ‘ work is accurate at all. Many people have worked at WoTC for extended periods of time. Dillon was one of the newer staff maybe it was based on seniority. I don’t know.

I am sure the risks are apparent but not as much as we joke. Some people have worked at WoTC for many years. And even if it is short lived it is great experience. Think of some of the past D&D designers who have become wildly successful such Wolfgang and Monte Cook to just name two.
