Most people dont read the novels, dice are not primarily a wotc product at the moment, I personally own a little bit over 200 dice, only like 7 from wotc, and none which were bought from them, only included in some product. Minis I give you that, maps too. Howvee to play the game you really dont...

While it is objetively just their opinion, in my purely anecdotical evidence most people I have heard talking about the setting dont like it. Certainly that is. Not a big sample size, and your experience may be completely different from mine or theirs.

Personally, I liked most of what is included, (except the adventure, seems very railroady and some parts of the adventure straight up dont matter to the overall conclusion), but i just wicj there was more of it, it feels very bad bones, specially the setting info.

Yeah, as far as I know, (which is what my lfgs store owner tells me) tcgs have much much much higer profit margins than selling or running ttrpg, its not even a drop in a glass of water of their total earnings. They only sell it as a cool sidething. Even tabletop games bring much higher reveneau...

As far as i know most flgs are tcg first and second, everything else third.
