    TSR Darlene tells NuTSR NO!

I stand corrected. It was SF's trademark that was abandoned. I had been checking it out and was considering grabbing it, just so I could be the guy who owned "Star Frontiers." I had no delusions that I owned the product. I would have just owned the name, and could make my own version.

    TSR Darlene tells NuTSR NO!

For many years, the copyright to the name "Star Frontiers" was abandoned/non-renewed by WoTC. Note that it's just the name, nothing else. What Justin LaNutso seems to think that owning a 'name' makes you entitled to the IP in it's full usage. I live near Lake Geneva, and I count many OS TSR...

WotC WotC President Chris Cocks is Hasbro’s New CEO

Dear Olaf, have you been on the Internet lately? About the only exposure that DnD hasn't gotten yet is the sekrit government mind control ray that people believe in. I used to be a retailer. I was at a trade show when the "Essentials" line came out. WotC held a seminar entitled "How to...

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

Gail is still a part of the TSR# drama... TSR2 produced "Gygax Magazine" run by Luke and Ernie. She shut that down, then dragged TSR2 into the ground with the after effects. I'd hazard a guess that even with the TS/NWO sales, they barely broke even, and thusly, led to part of the issue with...

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

Part of the saga, to a point, is that Gail removed herself from the Memorial Plaque and quite possibly everything else with regards to the Gygax name, per Tenkar, who of course, posted it as a YouTube video, and not a readable article.

RPG Print News – Modiphius, Dapper Fish Designs, Horseshark, and More

I wonder if I read "Flames of Freedom" and "Colonial Gothic" a 2009 release from Rogue Games, and possibly find them very very similar. I had been reading "Colonial Gothic" a couple of years back, and ISTR that some of these concepts sound vaguely familiar. I'd have to find it and start reading...

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Kobold Press, Exalted Funeral, and More

A little of both. I've been gaming for over 35 years. I remember the wide variety of products that used to be played and available. Now, I'm bitter, because of all the role playing groups in my area only play 5th Ed or Pathfinder, and if you want to play something else, you're SOL. The...

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Kobold Press, Exalted Funeral, and More

T&T players have been able to play as the monsters for some time. Monsters! Monsters! is in it's second edition, AND was released and shipped over a year ago. But I forget, it's not 5th Edition OR an EN product, so I expect it slipped under your radar.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Tanares, Stars Without Number, Down We Go, and more

5e/Pathfinder KS's could probably be spun off into their own entries, just to give other KS's their shot. I'd bet half of this is just 5e. Not really being objective in choices.
