    First Character Deaths

My first dnd experience was with a killer dm who gave me about 2 minutes of gametime before dying in a pitfall trap. Another lame kill was suggesting a player to look into a keyhole and then telling him that the medusa inside just happened to be looking at the door..... It was a long time...

Fighters vs mages at high level.

I'm no epic lvl expert but having some cover or concealment while closing in for the kill would help if you're going for a melee kill. Use the terrain to your advantage. PS Salut confrère québécois :)

    Beauty in D&D

Hmmm well I'm running a solo game for a low charisma gnoll ranger so I guess he's out. I have the occasional mind flayer sorcerer player (with a hat of disguise) that could try to sneak in though. ;)

    You last "Kill"

We had a pretty easy head on fight with a seven headed pyrohydra. We were a mid lvl party returning from looting some ruins. No loot except the bones for my zombie (botched scroll roll on a lich ascension attempt ;) ) cleric. When I'll get some downtime I'll craft some leather armor for my...

    AAAGGHHH!!! Not AGAIN!!!

I understand your situation since I'm down to one regular player thanks to real life responsabilities. I'm lucky enough to have a good dm ratio in my group so we have a few irregular campaigns to keep us busy. I also miss the golden years of gaming but at least I get more time to prepare...

    The Official Welcome Thread

Hello Just a another long-time DnD player who got tired of lurking ;) . I'm currently running a custom FR game (toned down the magic and the showstealing NPCs) thats been going for several years now. Thanks to the horrors of Real Life I'm down to one regular player so if anyone wants in...
