Fiendish Codex II next month--Any scoop/rumors/etc.?

From Planescape's point of view, that's possible - I'm not terribly familiar with it. As far as Dragonlance is concerned, its world and cosmology exists apart from the Great Wheel, despite what any previous supplement may claim. People who like Soth in Ravenloft have him there, people who like...

Expidition to Castle Ravenloft - Spoilers and Answers

As far as current (3rd ed, 5th Age of Krynn) Dragonlance continuity goes, though, the Great Wheel doesn't exist, the peoples' understanding of it notwithstanding. As far as Krynn is concerned, anywa; this doesn't impact other settings one bit. It's possible I got your point backwards and that's...

    The easiest & quickest RPGs?

FATE. Currently implemented in the wonderful Spirit of the Century, but that has quite a few pages. But FATE itself is dirt simple and fun as hell.

    $100 PDF!! Are they nuts!!??

Yup. Mark MacKinnon posted on RPGnet about this. The hard copy has been delayed several times, and this free download is a perk for those who preordered the book. They sent emails to everyone who preordered it with a purchase code for DriveThruRPG to discount the download to free. As Mark...

So anyone get ahold of the Serenity RPG?

They work well enough for my taste. It's a much lighter ruleset than d20.

Con goers -- speak of thy booty! (Briefly)

That stupid Pirates of the SPanish Main game that Wiz Kids has? Way more fun that it has any right to be. I came home with about six packs.

Is it possible to have an exciting and long-lasting campaign in a historical setting?

I played in a two-year-long campaign set in Elizabethan England run by Cam Banks. It was a blast. Find out what the actual beliefs of the people were, and allow supernatural stuff to occur that reenforces that. Fvlminata is a fine example of this (though not a d20 game). It's set in ancient...
