    Battle Mats

Or you could try.... www.chessex.com Some folks seem to think the Chessex "Megamats" are better than the Crystal Caste "Battlemats." I can't say one way or the other since I haven't tried them both. But... Crystal Caste is out of inventory on all their mats, yet their web site doesn't...

Overheard at a Monster Gaming Table

“Call me G-Cube, motherf*****r.” - Gelatinous Cube upon finding adventurers in his hizouse “Yo, when you gonna make a spell for a Tiny Pimpin’ Crib?” - Gelatinous Cube upon encountering a startled Leomund “Hudsf hskk zzzhhh sudusfl sflf.” - Tarrasque’s last words, but since there’s only one...

    Dumbest Question Ever

Hehe No sweat, Derian. It wasn't anything a 3-pack of skunked Zima, the classic "New Kids on the Block Do Christmas Carols" CD, and a pack of moldy Bon-bons couldn't cure. That being said - I'm bored to tears and would give away one or two of my children to be playing D&D right now. If you...

    Dumbest Question Ever

Gracias! Thank you, my good man Crothian. I picture you hitting Refresh about every five seconds while on the ENWorld forums. I swear you answer my questions before I ask them! Derian scares me. Croth - on an unrelated note, do you have a few spare minutes? I'd like to send you my...

    Dumbest Question Ever

What the heck does IIRC mean? You can mock me, tease me, flame me, and everything else for asking that question. But somewhere in your list of insults please include the meaning. Oh, and don't call me a Gelatinous Cube. That would officially hurt my feelings. RJ

    New 3E Campaign - DC/VA/MD Area

Could use one more PC Filling out the group quite nicely, but could use one more PC. The proposal on the table is to meet twice per month, on Tuesday evenings, from 6 PM - midnight. If you're in the area, and think you could make those times, I'd love to hear from you. We've got a great...

    New 3E Campaign - DC/VA/MD Area

Hi everyone, I'm planning on starting a new 3E campaign in the very near future. I currently DM another group but the players are spread throughout the country so we only get together about three times a year. I need more D&D, so that's why I'm here. First, some information about myself...

    Quick Questions

Fellas, Urgent question: Please help quickly if you can. Don't have MoF on me. What's the area of effect for Murderous Mist (4th level Drd spell)? Normal questions: Is there a handy dandy spell list complete with all the AoE, Rng, and other info somewhere on the net to help prevent me...

Willing to Pay for You to Map my Campaign World

Hi everyone, If you're an artist/cartographer, please continue. Otherwise, sorry to hog bandwidth. I'm the DM of a group that's been playing D&D together off-and-on since 1986. Throughtout this time we've mainly been on one, homemade campaign world. I think it's about time that I had the...

Dwarven Women: Beards or no Beards?

More stuff I skipped from 1E to 3E, so I can't vouch for how it was in 2E, but on pg. 37 of the DMG, it states that some dwarven women tend to be bearded, and hence dwarven males may be particularly forward with clean-shaven, or beardless, women as a result. Bottom line, I'd agree with these...

Dwarven Women: Beards or no Beards?

Bearded Dwarves Some dwarven women were bearded, if not all, in earlier editions of D&D. But 3E is more 'politically correct' and I think they tossed the bearded dwarven females out the same time they decided to mix and match 'she' and 'he' pronouns randomly throughout the Core Rules.
