So the idea is that my players will be the Kaiju, monsters sent to earth to prepare it for colonization. I was wondering if anyone knew a point buy system that allows players to create their own custom abilities/powers? I'm actually not worried about anything else, since I will ask them to just...
I like the sound of low and high level sculpts of the same guy, should be really interesting. Im not a fantastic pantier myself, but i may end up getting some and trying my hand again
Yeah thats the biggest problem I am gonna run into. My ideal is to use the smallest gundam models, The biggest spark for me is that they now have bases you can buy with your model, which makes them super awesome to pose like they are flying/leaping ect. Im not sure I will be able to just because...
So I love this little kits, have quite a few of them now days. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good wargame or rpg for mecha combat. I want to try and use the 1/144th scale models of Gundams as models
I also like the idea of making stuff easier. I dont want to figure out every component to every magic item ever, cause my players arent likely to want to make every item ever.
For things like a fire based sword, it could be as simple(in theory anyways) As needing a fire started by a source of...
what is your sweet spot? are you looking for consistent damage? or criting as much as you can? in my opinion, I think either option 2 or 3 would be your sweet spot. 5f/15r for maxing amount of damage a crit sneak does, while 11f/9r will let you crit bit more often
Also, if you really want to go...
My most interesting monster was sand sharks. I was running a 4e Dark Sun game, and had silt sharks harrying my players. They got pretty scared when they started doing a flyby bite and or slam attack. It was more of a skill challange to be frank, keep the silt-skif going while not dying, but...
i wonder if you mean actully out there exploring ruins, or npcs with class levels? My general stance is that about a 3rd of any given population probably has class levels. Or at least the equivalent power of class levels. IM not going to roll full stats for every town guardsmen, but its safe to...
I think this is very interesting.
If im understanding this right, you take damage by increments of your threshold. so for the fighter mentioned, by fives, and the kobolds by 3's. 1 point at 1-3 damage, 2 life points at 4-6, ect
Defiantly setting reasons. building my world up and where the sentient races live, I just sorta started running out of room. between the many monsterous races that exist in the MM, and the "civilized" races, I just couldn't find a place for everything. I ended up cutting things that either where...
its very cinematic feel. ive only played a few sessions of this game, but when my pilot manage to barely steer a crashing speeder into cover, instead of just into the street, was a fantastic way for me to use an overwhelming number of advantages on a failed check to keep the speeder driving...
So i toy back and forth with different homebrew settings, but one thing I've always been a little nervous about implementing is stricter choices on race, and to a lesser extent class choice as well. With out going into deep discussion of my current workings (still trying to pull that stuff out...
