    How do you pronounce "Erinyes"

Thought I'd try another. . . . I pronounce it as #1, but usually only when referring to more than one erinys (Ear-RHINE-us; the singular form).

Tell Me Your Best DM Dirty Tricks...

"Mature" ratings ahead: When I first began playing D&D, I learned of a trio of NPC characters unleashed by a fellow DM named Paul Gohman. This trio was known as "The Three B-F***ing Thieves," & each did a certain amount of damage with their "weapons." I later adapted them to my own...

    How do you pronounce "Asmodeus"

I prefer the former because it sounds more impressive, especially with the -deus suffix being latin for "god." As a bonus, it sounds much cooler when singing "Rock Me Asmodeus"!

That's essentially the same as #2.

    How do you pronounce "Asmodeus"

Inspired by a couple of other "How do you pronounce x" threads. Note that the "oh" above is pronounced as a long o (rhymes with hoe or mode, not ah or mod)

    D&D Modules on Wikipedia

The main culprit is User:Gavin.collins, who I doubt has anything to do with Randy Richards (User:Cryogenesis), who hasn't been active on Wikipedia for over a year, AFAIK.

    D&D Modules on Wikipedia

Web Enhancement for White Plume Mountain

Different interpretations are fine for your own campaign, but some of us expect the publisher to have some respect for continuity. Dragotha has been described as a red dragon for almost 20 years, and now some writer decides to throw continuity out the window and make him a black dragon? And...

*POLL* Do You Feel That Greyhawk is a Dead Campaign Officially?

I'm one of those Greyhawk fans that T. Foster would likely consider a "necrophiliac fan." However, I see Greyhawk as a "living" setting that grows & develops--it doesn't remain in stasis circa 1983 CE/ 577 CY. I would argue that the fans who absolutely refuse to acknowledge any good post-Gygax...

True, the LGJ is a great resource. However, I believe someone's already compiled a list of all the LGJ articles at Canonfire!.

    Greyhawk in 3E+ Products

If I had more time, I most certainly would, but given the fact that there's always plenty of good Greyhawk content in Dungeon & Dragon, I just wouldn't be able to include everything before the deadline. I do plan on including compilations, however, such as the Shackled City HC & the Dragon...

    Greyhawk in 3E+ Products

Apologies for the crossposting. Everyone, A recent grad school project has provided the opportunity to merge one of my favorite recreational interests (Greyhawk) with my scholastic duties. I'm compiling an annotated bibliography of all 3E & 3.5E books which contain Greyhawk material. As...
