wouldn't you wind up toasting your summoned creatures with all of those area effecting spells? Targeted spells may be more advisable. Would the summoned creatures actually turn on you if you attacked them?

Can a vorpal sword be enchanted with keen edge, and will it also be further benifitted by using a scabbard of keen edges? Imp. critical should work, but was wondering about other ways of increasing the threat range.

IIRC, the character who killed the hobgoblin children was an elven barbarian, and barbarians are not typically known for their kind treatment of any race. He saw the offspring of the enemy as another potential danger, so he eliminated the potential danger. A dead creature is one that cannot...

So is there any penalty against advancing in two different prestige classes at the same time, even if there is a difference of multiple levels between them?

I still find it hard to believe the description in the PHB of a female barbarian character. A raging woman, lacking manners, and wearing raggedy clothing is hard to imagine. For some reason, I find this character easier to visualize as being male. Not that there's anything wrong with a female...

So if the di does fall down her shirt, who has to fish it out of there for her, or do you simply allow her to recover it herself?

Was wondering if the harm spell would have any effect on a raging berzerker when he is already at negative hit points? And if it does still work, how much damage would it cause?

Would harm have a beneficial effect (eg restore the barbarian to 1d4 hp) if he was already minus? Thought this would be an interesting moment, when the cleric discovers that his spell actually helped. Ok, I don't really think this would work, but the spell description doesn't mention anything...

Would the frenzy prevent the character from dieing from something like dragon's breath, or does the character simply ignore damage that is purely physical (ie sword attacks, bites, etc.)? Am just wondering exactly what the limits are.

Just happy to see that the teams that are trying to buy the cup aren't going undefeated in their playoff series'. It's good that teams with less money like the Canadians and the Canucks are doing well.

I can't believe that the Canucks were able to beat the wings. I was hoping for that, but with the team that Detroit has, I was expecting the Canucks to do a lot worse. It's just nice to see a team composed of average players win over a team composed of all-stars.

I don't see how, for example, a crippled rogue threatening some nasty punishment would be more threatening than a raging barbarian threatening the same thing. I know this is an extreme example, but just using it to prove a point. Also, in a medieval fantasy setting, wouldn't a physical threat...

Yeah, those rule clarifications and disputes (AOO, range, etc.) all prolong the encounter. Still fun though, but just seems to take longer than it should.
