Cylon base and Galactica expansions? Argh! What is the difference between the various "identical" ship expansions? Does it come down to paint schemes and player cards, or does something else set those expansions apart?

Roll once and stick with the result, however good/bad it may be. Low hit points may result in the player/PC having to adjust their tactics in play. If they don't like the odds, they can take average hit points before rolling. EDIT: I do automatically give max HPs at level 1.

Midnight remains my favourite D&D setting ever. Haven't had time to do anything with it of late, unfortunately. There have been some attempts by fans to adapt it to 5e: Anyone Working on a D&D 5e Conversion?

Ooooh, great idea! I'm currently DMing D&D 5E for the first time (have previously run Pathfinder 1.0 and earlier versions of A/D&D), and presently going through the original Lost Mine of Phandelver... if I ever run it for another group, I'll definitely consider your version! Added it to my DM's...

FFG's Midnight (I know, won't happen), Greyhawk, Dark Sun, Birthright, Ravenloft (beyond Curse of Strahd), Planescape and, oh why not, Mystara, in that order. And an updated version of Gamma World using the D&D 5.0 chassis would be cool! Evidently, I don't feel the need for other brand new...

Makes me wonder... might Sophisticated sub-license to either Modiphius... or to FFG (who might view it as a lucrative opportunity to adapt the LotR RPG to their Genesys/narrative dice system, given the impending release of the Amazon TV series)??? FFG does generally have a bigger presence/share...
