Not quite sure why there's complaints over the DDI price increase since from the very start of the paid DDI subscription they've said the current price would be a temporary introductory price.

While it is only a sample size of one person, I can walk in to the hobby store nearest to me and find traditional wargames alongside RPG's CCG's and traditional board games. I don't consider that store to be a cross-over shop since the store has been a general hobby shop for over twenty years...

If you're looking for inspiration for a con artist campaign, I highly recommend that you pick up The Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch. Both books are chock full of con artist goodness and fun, entertaining reads as well. I'm not sure what age range you fall...

You don't need to go to a convention to join, you can do it online. Follow this link and you will see what info you need to e-mail to Customer Service. Thats how I signed up for the RPGA. And I too would love to see a full fledged 4E Temple of Elemental Evil come about.

In the Design and Development article, the devs say that while they wanted to focus on the Unarmed Monk as the base Monk, they understand that players also want to be able to use weapons with the Monk and are going to address that via other builds as well as feats/fighting styles.

I was not expecting the Monk to be Psionic although it greatly pleases me to see confirmation that at least some Psionic character classes will be in the PH3. It can't arrive soon enough for me.
