My first response to the cancellation of Dungeon and Dragon, was to change my planned campaign to WFRP 2nd ed. It's a very fun game. It does grim and gritty very well. The Jabberwock exists in 2nd ed. It can be found in the Tome of Corruption.

I think it'd be cool for the last issue of Dragon to have a wizard slaying a dragon on the cover. A gold dragon that is. Just seems appropriate somehow...

I will definitely miss Dragon and Dungeon. They've been a constant part of what I think of as gaming for as long as I can remember. I have little interest in buying WotC's online content.

Just writing to add my prayers and condolences to all who were involved and affected by this event.

The people on the Sci-Fi Channel's forums seem to think series 3 will air sometime this summer/fall. So the wait isn't that long, but it will sure feel like it. :(

Thats strange I'm such a history buff that I got my degree, and that's not what I think. I found 300 to be a fun, if almost completely historically inaccurate, movie. That just says the movie is innacurate and then goes into a diatribe supporting the author's personal politics. :\

Obviously the bridge needs to be at the top so they can look out the windows when sensors are down. ;) The super technology that is transporters/replicators should be an effective end to death. The right amount of energy plus a stored pattern should equal instant clone.

I actually think the Dresden Files usually has good acting, just not the pilot. The actors looked very uncomfortable with their parts.

I don't find it creepy at all. The thread is very useful to find out who is recently deceased in fields of interest I enjoy. Now if it were full of stuff like morgue photos, or bad jokes about the dead, I would find it creepy. :eek:

I would prefer Donnie Wahlberg for the part of Duke. I think Mark Wahlberg would be better as Hawk or Flint. I don't think it makes much sense to mix GI Joe and Action Man. :\ Edit: I'd also add Gung Ho to the list of iconic characters that should be in the movie.
