    Round 8 is OVER!

Whirlwind Attack: It has the possibility of being useful, if it wasn't for the fact it required 4 other feats, as well as a int of at least 13 (not something many fighters have) which makes it far to hard to get for the limited use it has. As for a pdf I don't really want one. I'm not in a...

    Round Vii Is Over

Widen Spell Enlarge Spell Improved Overrun They might not be the worst of the feats remaining but their are all pretty bad.

    Round Vi Is Over

Ok one more time I'm going to vote for improved unarmed strike. I'm sure it will get voted out sometime. As for which feat will win, I'll have to go for power attack. Its a feat that almost any fighter type should be able to qualify for, and its has use at pretty much any level as opponents...

    Round V is OVER

Improved Unarmed Strike for the same reasons I stated less thread and Spell Mastery for its general uselessness.

    Round IV is OVER

I'm going to vote for improved unarmed strike. If you want to fight unarmed you really need be a monk to be at all effective. Without being a monk an unarmed attack would do a whole 1d3 points of damage I believe. I just can not see much of a use for unarmed combat for anyone but a monk, and...

    Round III is OVER

I'll have to vote for endurance. Rather weak and situational compared to most other feats and theres only a few situations where I would think about taking it. If medium armor was better, then the ability to sleep in it might be nice, however thats not the case.

    Round 2 is OVER

Simple Weapon Proficiency I think I agree with simple weapon proficiency. Looking at it from a prespective of its worth as a feat chosen, instead of looking it as an ability of most classes, it is entirely useless. As pointed out their are 3 classes that lack simple weapon proficiany. The monk...

    Round One is OVER

I'll just put in a vote for endurance. Even though its better in 3.5, the situations you would get bonuses from seem to be far to rare in a normal campaign, and for some spells can easily let you avoid making those checks in the first place. While being able to sleep in medium armor might be...

French Foreign Legion to Invade Wild West Town (1882)

You don't need to be quite so elebrate. Since the wizards have teleport spells as you say, if they believe that they have superior fire power, destroying the tracks ahead of the train the pcs are on would be an almost certain way to stop the train, with a good chance of inflicting more damage if...

Is any one alignment intellectually superior?

Intelligance and alignment do not have any assocation with each other. You can take any alignment to an extreme thats past reason. Its easy to imagine these extremes for all the none tn alingnments, but there are plenty of ways tn can go past the point of reason. TN could mean that the person is...

    Ah! Tarrasque!

I'll say that you should try and take the leader down. The fact of the matter is that with proper preperation taking an epic level mage down will probally be easier then killing the tarrasques. Also I think the consquences of the wizard dying are less the the consquences that come from the...

Alright, who's got the sig virus?

The sig virus seems to be spreading quite fast. It's even got me.

What do you do if a Raven follows you?

If a raven's following you, in a normal setting it would probally have been sent by a druid/ is a druid, or a wizards familar. So the first thing I would do is try to think of any wizards or druids that I know. If there was an wizard or druid with a known grudge against the party I would kill...

DriveThruRPG - No free product this week?

Looking in the free stuff section pulls up a $35 book CJ Carrella's WitchCraft currently for free. I'd guess that the front page is broken and this is the free product.

Let's talk about movement. (new questions, post #12)

For the second set of situations I would rule the following. 1. Running across the fence is a series of balance checks that are more difficult the faster you are moving. 2. The incline doesn't look difficult enougth to warrent climb checks. I think I would just half movement speeds while...

Is an index important to you

It depends on the book. If the book is organized so its easy to find information without an index (books of monsters in alphebetical order, most site based adventure modules) then an index isn't important. However an Index is important for books where the useful information is scattered all...

    When objects fall

My view on physics in D&D as a whole is that everyone works mostly as it does in the real world except if special conditions (magic and the likes) dictate otherwise. However if players start trying to exploit knowledge of advanced physics that the characters could have no way of knowing to...

[DM Aid] Multiple Choice for PCs: Your MONEY or your LIFE!

I read the setup before voting as the situation really determines the answer to the question (5 goblins asking for your money or your life, is far different then a red dragon). Upon reading the situation I voted for your life, because like several other people in this thread, the first though I...

Misspelling rogue as rouge - enlighten me

I think its just that people make mistakes when typing, and that people notice whene rogue iss mispelled more often because the mispelling forms another word instead of something that is obviously a typo.
