D&D 5E Players Handbook 5e is $18 on Amazon and a sales rank of 70 right now.

It's #12 right now and the price went up already.

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

FYI, the 5e PHB is now at #23 on Amazon because of a massive sale. EDIT: The book is now at #12, and this is after the price went from ~18 dollars to $27.95

    D&D 4E Missing Domains?

If you're discussing 5e domains instead of Pathfinder (I'm guessing this popped up here because this used to be a 3.e forum), a thing to remember is that domains in official 5e are much broader in scope than those of earlier editions. Stuff like Birth and Fertility would be covered by the Life...

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

I'm sure WotC is consoling themselves over the drop in relative sales of a 5-year old PHB with the sales of the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount (currently ranked #31 overall).

    Paizo Paizo Product Roundup: February

Published under license (and I believe their license still allows them to sell PDFs of certain Dragon and Dungeon back issues). WotC owns the content though and it includes a lot of their IP.

D&D 5E Should WotC Keep the Love Domain as is?

There is already a charm Cleric domain - the Order domain from the Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica.

    Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder 2E's reception?

CoC has been benefiting from some savvy marketing on the part of Chaosium, specifically they've been featured by both Critical Role and Acquisitions Inc. over the past few months.

Pathfinder 2E What's the deal with 3rd party PF2E Adventure "support"??

Sure, and I believe the Miskatonic Repository was one of the first ones after the DMs Guild; plus, they also have 3PP publishers creating CoC-specific supplements which was my main point.

Pathfinder 2E What's the deal with 3rd party PF2E Adventure "support"??

No, but how many other games can boast multiple successful 3PP publishers and their own version of the DM's Guild? The folks running Chaosium now are closely modeling their marketing on WotC and it appears to be paying off.

Pathfinder 2E What's the deal with 3rd party PF2E Adventure "support"??

Call of Cthulhu has a relatively robust 3PP market.

    D&D 5E Mordenkainen's Fiendish Folio Volume 1

These are based on the 1e Fiend Folio. Ethergaunts only appeared in the 3e Fiend Folio.

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

I would think the subscriptions are a good indication of hardcore PF/Paizo fans while Amazon would be a good indicator of casual and/or new fans.

    D&D 5E Eberron versus Multiverse

What? The 4e books literally state you could sail the Astral Sea and reach the Eberron cosmology.

What are the most compelling reasons to switch from PF 1 to PF 2?

Though I would say that some of those problems are going to emerge over time given the amount of content that is likely going to be released, a problem shared with 3e, 4e, and PF 1e. Will it be as bad as it's predecessor? Probably not unless Paizo loses its mind and introduces stuff like new...

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

There's not even that much difference between many of the PF and 5e monsters! The bag of hit points argument is usually prima facie disingenuous no matter which modern edition of D&D or PF you're talking about.

Pathfinder 1E Wizkids should take the Pathfinder 1.0 ruleset and publish their own RPG.

Doesn't WizKids have a pre-existing business relationship with both WotC and Paizo? I'm sure they'd love to anger both their partners by producing a new version of a 20 year old system with a gazillion books and shrinking player base - never mind that they don't publish RPGs. Also, there's...

They're muscle and guards. Nothing more grandiose!

Yugoloths: Do They Have an Identity Beyond the Blood War?

The nycadaemon and mezzodaemon both appeared in the 1e FF. Though their first appearance was actually in the Vault of the Drow, three years earlier.
