So my Dad asked me the other day if anyone had "used this adventure" (he never really got D&D) and I didn't really have an answer. Has anyone actually run it and if so, how did it go?

I've seen complaints online about the encounter groups in the 1st MM. Not many, but I've seen a few.

I found the WotC twitter feed, which confirmed that the shardmind is the new PHB3 race.

I'm assuming that someone out there is going to be live blogging or twittering from the DDXP. Does anyone have any links to these sites?

Does WotC usually ship out kits for WWDDGD this far in advance of the actual event? Its what, almost two months from now? I would have expected the Dark Sun stuff from DDXP to have leaked first.

I agree, this book is tops and is easily one of my favorite 4e releases (I'm currently half way through the Feydark chapter); I liked it so much that I'm adding a paragon-level excursion to the Underdark in the campaign I'm starting to plan.

One of my favorite older issues is #13 (I need to dig it out and read it again), which features two excellent dungeon crawls, "The Ruins of Nol-Daer," "The Moor-Tomb Map," and what I think is the best BECMI D&D adventure that appeared in Dungeon, "Of Nests and Nations."

Very useful actually IMO, as there's a lot of Khyber in the 4e version of the Underdark.

I doubt my fiancee will allow me to buy the Orcus miniature, so I'm mostly psyched by the news that WotC will begin previewing Dark Sun next month. Here's hoping for PHB3 style previews!

Nothing RPG related this Christmas for me (I buy all my 4e stuff myself from Amazon), but I gave my future brother-in-law the PHB Holiday Gift Set, which he enjoyed receiving. My parents did buy my fiancee and I a Wii, which we've been playing since we set it up around 6pm tonight.
