D&D 5E Looking for Short Urban Adventures for Levels 1-3

I wrote "Rats in the Undercellar" which is a low-level urban mystery set in Baldur's Gate. It appears in Dungeon 217 and wouldn't be hard to convert to 5e. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Planescape Anyone have Dungeon #55 with the Planescape adventure "Umbra"?

Page 34 contains an isometric map of Durkayle's Tower and a description of rooms 1 and 2 of said tower (plus a tiny portion of room 3). Room 1 - the Tower Foyer - is inhabited by 4 Harmonium Measures (5th level fighters who can cast charm person 1.day. They are armed with spiked gauntlets and...

D&D 5E Small Book of Monsters for 5E

Yes, I believe that this is the route we would pursue if we took this to Kickstarter. It works very well for smaller scale projects IMO.

D&D 5E Small Book of Monsters for 5E

If I do a Kickstarter yes - that would be the primary reason to do it (along with professional layout and editing). Does anyone want to see any monster in particular?

D&D 5E Small Book of Monsters for 5E

Hello everyone! I'm the friend in question, so I figured I should add some details. All of the monsters are based on real world mythology and folklore, which by itself is no big deal. However, I'm trying to remain as faithful as possible to the original myths in terms of both lore and...

D&D 5E Is there a Forgotten Realms boxed set for 5th Edition?

No, there is no 5e box set and there are no publicly announced plans for any campaign setting books. However, the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide and various APs (especially Storm King's Thunder contain information about the current state of the Realms, though the focus is on the Sword Coast and...

D&D 5E What do you like, and what do you not like about Volo's Guide to Monsters? (spoilers)

However, my complaint isn't about the proliferation of monstrous deities, it's that many previously unrelated monsters are now the creation of the same handful of epic level bad guys. That's the trend that began in 4e, probably because so much previous lore had been thrown out and because the...

D&D 5E What do you like, and what do you not like about Volo's Guide to Monsters? (spoilers)

I have to agree, though this trend actually started in 4e. Not all monsters need origin stories, and not all monsters need to be created by the same handful of epic-level bad guys (in Volo's it's primarily Orcus, the Queen of Air and Darkness, and Yeenoghu)

If I ever use a Babau in a home game I'll probably add that ability, just like I'm going to give magic jar to my shadow demons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

D&D 5E Known World Monster Manual Sample...Forwyn Oedran aka the Witch of Years

I think his question was in regards to the Mystaran monsters. To the best of my knowledge, the majority of the specific Mystaran monsters weren't released under the OGL and the DMs Guild doesn't currently support Mystaran content (or Kickstarted works for that matter).

D&D 5E What Monster Would You Save

A lot of my favorites have already been converted, either in the MM, Volo's Guide, or the various APs, so I'm going to have to think about some of my deeper cuts. However, I have to say, that I loved the results of the systems used to select monsters in Volo's guide. I'd rather have...

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana: Revenant Subrace, Monster Hunter, and Inquisitive

I'm not really a fan of this revenant implementation (you should at least be considered undead), I love the monster hunter archetype, and think the inquisitive has promise, though I'm not a fan of the name.
