Does changing back and forth from wind to normal with a windwalk spell require 5 rounds of concentration? Or is it just a free action to initiate and then happens automatically "in the background" for 5 rounds, and then poof you are changed?

How would you rule a wizard trying to touch and dimension door away a grappled ally?

Bump? Oh, and one more related question. If a creature takes the -20 to grapple with one body part and succedes, it says it can do damage with that body part with future grapple checks. Are these also at -20?

Can someone explain to me how you fiigure out monster grapple checks (ones that normally use natural weapons)? As in how many they get. Is it suddenly based on BAB? If so, does that mean as soon as they start making grapple checks they can't use any natural weapon attacks? And, worse yet...

I disagree. I think a wizard has a caster level for wizard spells. A wizard's caster level is equal to a rogue's for casting cleric spells: zero. I don't see any difference between a wizard using UMD to cast a cleric spell and a Rogue doing it.

Aren't you contradicting yourself here? Before you said a rogue would use the staff's caster level. Why is a wizard casting a cleric spell any different?

Yeah, but a staff doesn't have a "normal casting level", that's the thing. It uses the caster level of the weilder. Or did you perhaps mean to say "minimum caster level"?
