I find this intriguing and wonder how many tabloids are going to run with it. My first thought though on reading the article, was that if it was aliens, what are the odds of them still being out there now.... ;)

They realy should have looked at there equipment lists to choose the best option during the fight as well(especially the spell casters while waiting on the fighter types to finish there attacks, or while the dragon was trying to fleece them).

I am almost tempted to work on one, but it would end up being a C++ program, and I already have 3 projects ahead of it on my plate for character generators, and none of them will be done quickly since I only have so little time to work on my programs. :(

I usually realize that I am going to be involved int a TPK about three or four rounds before it happens. The last one left us without a good escape route, and things that we had to protect and failed. Oh well, more fun for later as we try to fix the problem. :eek:

I also like the second map best, and as to an idea for the power source, and how to turn it off... I think in the central room have a large crystal, that is the source of the Power Cyst, and to turn it off/block the flow of energy, in one of the outer rooms, have a big lead cube that is covered...

I just finished reading the nWoD Core book on Sunday, and I must say I was very impressed. I like a lot of the things that they did with the system. I look forward to reading the VtR book(which is slated for after I finish Paranoia XP). Now, I am going to have to dig up some players for this...

Another wonderfull thing about the series, is that we are never sure how much of what Corwin tells us through his narration is true, or things that he only assumes is true. That little fact opens up a whole can of worms with what is really going on. :cool:

Yes there was an article in Dragon about one in Turkey, I believe it was in the 100's somewhere, but it has been a long time since I looked at the article. The article was pretty interesting and contained tour information for the city.

You could also tie in the Branch Davidians from Waco. They could have known something about what is going on, and were taken out by operatives that had infiltrated the government. Possibly they were the "good guys" or possibly they were just as bad as they appeared in the news, and just worked...

Well since I just recently moved back to Waxahachie, TX from the Denton/Lewisville area, I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on good "in the area" game stores. I know about Talon up in Denton and Game Chest in Valley View Mall, but what others are out there that are closer than that...

I will probably be starting a game in Waxahachie by the end of the June, but it will in all probability be for for Tribe 8, since I have become quite burned out on D20. I will put a post up here when I know more of the details.

I don't know who I would want to win. I like the idea of a Canadian team winning it all, but I also like Tampa. So it is a toss up. I do think that this is going to be a hard fought series, and I am sure it is not going to be a sweep. My hunch is that it is going to play out like the Tampa...
