    Eberron Setting?

Well, thats the purpose of the thread, to get some better ideas other then what I can pull out, I went with the lightning rail idea because it seemed to get a lot of attention on this thread. It has a bar, chairs, tables and lounges. Everything the tavern has except for a hearth. If people...

    Eberron Setting?

Right, well I've been asked to post my draft for the Eberron room set up here to get some more feedback as the magi discuss, please, input needed! I stuck with the 'Lightning Rail' example and drew up a couple of maps as well as the setting description, but they're a bit chunky to fit on a...

    Eberron Setting?

Heh, thats what I had hoped when I sent the email. ...hmm, I must have typed the email address wrong. Lucky I saved it :-) Sent again. The isrpmagi emails is ISRPMagi@gmail.com, right? That's what it says on the 'how to contact the magi' sticky. ...if it still doesn't go through (and my...

    Eberron Setting?

I like this idea, if it doesn't work, can always scrap it :-) Sent one a few days ago actually, am yet to get a reply from the magi.

    Eberron Setting?

This is absolutely true. I use the cage as much as I can, but you are correct in that it doesn't get as much action as what it probably should. I still think the cage is an awesome idea. Whose to say that the same wouldn't happen to an Eberron room? ...well, honestly, in the long term, I don't...

    Eberron Setting?

Ok, so maybe more simple guidelines are needed? 1. If its bigger then a train, its not allowed. 2. If an ability or spell can de-rail a train, its no allowed. 3. If its more expensive then a train, its not allowed. 4. If its more resistant to damage then a train, its not allowed. There...

    Eberron Setting?

The fact that you haven't flatly said 'No' to this idea is a constant source of inspiration for me :) Well, at least theres support for the idea.

    Eberron Setting?

...so, am I the only one who thinks when a new setting comes up: "OOooh, new setting, where are the loop holes and how can I abuse it?" :D

    Eberron Setting?

That is unfortunately out of the question. Not everyone who uses ISRP uses stats. It's a freeform based system, and some don't even know what dnd is. This would isolate and alienate part of the community, and that is something we don't want to do. I would like to think that it is possible to...

    Eberron Setting?

Well, thats exactly my point. The restrictions in the CRT stop the drow and demons and the vampires from being seen, because the people of fords keep would take them to the stake or hang them in the middle of town, or whatever it is they do if they showed their faces. Or at least, isn't that the...

    Eberron Setting?

Well yeah, I play some powerful characters myself, and some not so powerful ones. The major problem is enforcement and definition of what is 'too powerful' in a free form setting. I mean, you COULD pin it down to a character sheet concept, but for some people that just wouldn't fly because they...

    Eberron Setting?

Fair points. Ok, so, what would an Eberron Room have that our current rooms don’t have: Well, as a starting point, Eberron offers a unique pulp action style that some of the other settings lack. If an Eberron room were to pop up, it would have to be in Eberrons 'style' (a lightning rail lounge...

    Eberron Setting?

Back when ISRP moved off the wizards of the coast website and onto unlikely heroes just before coming here to glorious enworld, the idea of more rooms and settings was thrown around. In the end, a Faerun setting was decided on through vote of users. A sigil setting also got put up due to popular...

    Am I the only one?

Well, using firefox 2.0, I had two posts eaten tonight. ...guess that didn't fix it (seemed to for a while but... only went bad tonight.) ...so, any idea why my posts keep getting eaten? Or if it can be fixed? :)

    Am I the only one?

Oh good, so its not just me. Still... wonder why it happens. ...and more importantly how it can be fixed? It hasn't happened yet since I've upgraded to 2.0 - YET.

New Crew for The Black Cross

Tyrian makes his way up to the notice board, and frowns gently at this post. . o O(*Closed* Gods. That's all we need in Khorvaire... adepts!) Apparently resisting the urge to defile and graffiti the response, he continues on his way.

    Am I the only one?

Heh, confessedly once or twice it has actually been that I have accidentally hit shift and enter, but I always double check that thats not the case (as it is really annoying when you sit there for five minutes thinking your windows frozen when in fact your post is just up a line.) In this case...

    Am I the only one?

Well, I just updated to firefox 2.0, so I guess I'll see how that goes. Bad thing is that it happens so randomly, so it might take a while to determine if the browser update fixed it. Edit: And yeah, its defiantly not the chat window freezing up, I can type stuff in again later no problem.

    Am I the only one?

Ok, first, I love flashchat, I reckon its great, much better then that 'ol ichat thing we used to use, but i've been noticing lately that sometimes when I type something in and then hit enter to post it in the chat window, it doesn't show up in the main dialogue! Lag demons eat my posts :( Does...
