Playable character without magic items: possible ?

About forsaker and VoP: it doesn't matter anyway. You get DR from VoP anyway, and it's about as good, especially as forsaker DR is 3.0 and DRs tended to be higher then. Note: I know BoED is 3.0 as well, but it's late 3.0 and VoP gives you DR/magic rather than DR/+X

    Y A M B Q

You could of course be a Bard, a Sorcerer or a Cleric using Miracle. Unless, of course, your DM is houseruling that you can't cast spells your character can't spell.

Would You Give Wizards Unlimited Lower Level Spells?

I agree with that. After all, I can't see unlimited use of any cantrip being overpowered- or even anything more than flavorful. Most of the offensive ones are less effective than firing a crossbow, and the buffs and debuffs don't stack. The oly one that I could see as being a problem is Daze...

    What is your favorite Title?

Swift-footed Godlike Achilles Hector the Manslayer Ajax the Wall of the Achaeans yes, the Iliad has it right. There are some other good British royal nicknames as well: Ethelred the Unready (from the Saxon for 'bad advice') Alfred the Great (only British monarch to be called the Great) Edward...

    Red Hand of Doom

If you don't have the core roles covered, there will be TPKs. The encounters are frequent enough that you need a cleric, have enough enemies that you need a wizard, have beefy enough enemies that you need a fighter, and there are enough traps in the dungeon sections to need a rogue- although a...

What the hell happened? RHoD (spoilers)

I've just checked the Ghostlord's statblock. In fact, he's been deliberately made less powerful than you'd expect a Drd6/Blighter-5 lich to be. His single 5th-level spell (create undead) has already been cast when the players encounter him. If I was DMing him, I'd replace this with Antilife...

What the hell happened? RHoD (spoilers)

The Ghostlord is not a Druid-lich, he's a Blighter-lich. Blighters are ex-druids, so they don't get their druid spells any more- and Entangle isn't on the Blighter list.

    suggestions for an orc wedding?

Make sure to have a lot of roasted meat. Have the cook make comments in earshot of party members about how you should serve Elf at a wedding, but it's so hard to get these days...

Looking for a huge sized lizard

The mass-murder and the packrat are 2 of the most common player types. Killing or taking the enemy's beasts of burden is an extreme example of this, but isn't too rare... The question is, are the lizards monsters (in which case you kill them and take their stuff) or someone's stuff (in which...

    Two-Headed Spear (Homer)

I think a Homeric spear would basically be the doru (the pointed butt-spikes were common in the ancient world, the Persians also used them). However, there would be 2 differences: The points would be bronze rather than iron. The spear would be a LOT longer. Hector's is described as "eleven...

Manual of the Planes says that there are rumours of periodic Elemental Planes. It has a short description of the Elemental Plane of Gold, which seems quite Aztec.

    Rules Compendium

According to my chem teacher, books printed in colour contain a lot of china clay as part of the paper. It's why a colour textbook is heavier than a B&W one the same size.

Robe of the Archmagi and Magic Vestment

That's tricky. If the Robe of the Archmagi is a robe enchanted as a +5 suit of armour, then it doesn't stack. If it's an item of clothing which acts as a suit of armour that gives a +5 bonus and happens to be magical, then it stacks. There are two possible schools of thought: 1) The robe's AC...
