Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

Alastair observes the fishy avalanche with more curiosity than concern. "I don't imagine I'll see the likes of that again," he quips. Heh, I'm kinda stumped as to what we can do to help Abby. Alastair will be of little help digging...

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

Alastair looks warily at the fish and seems reluctant to repeat his last crawl. "I'll keep the high ground this time," and he ducks behind on of the crates. Alastair will stay at H23.

"Nothing to it, but to proceed forward", while gesturing helpfully at the curtain. "I'll sneak ahead, if that will help." Alastair burns three healing surges to get to full HP.

How many healing surges can we spend? Whatever it is, I'll use them :)

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

"No doubt," Alastair says with a grunt as he pulls himself from the fish pile. "I think we'd all like to meet him. And I think you're going to tell us how to find him." "Unless of course, you'd like to stare upon the face of Zhudun again," says Alastair, staring the mercenary straight in the...

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

Alastair winces as he stands, his opponents' arrows sticking out of him like a pin cushion. "Enough of this," he shouts, while pulling a cod out from under his tunic. He turns to face the mercenary leader with malice in his eyes, and in hushed tones, he speaks of a prophecy glimpsed in the...

Great crit, and the timing couldn't be better. Is the Mercenary leader bloodied? I'm thinking of using my daily to perhaps finish off the leader. Thoughts?

Alastair switches targets to assist the valiant paladin. He unleashes another eldritch blast and this time, the bolt strikes true, nearly leveling the armored mercenary. "He's all yours, Eraden!", and the gnome once again ducks into the fish. Standard: Eldritch Bolt at Mercenary 2 1d20+4=21...

Alastair emerges from the fish, and once more fires a bolt of dark eldritch energy at the cursed mercenary. And once again, it arcs past his target. Wondering what ruinous spirits he must have crossed, Alastair deals with his frustration by cursing another opponent. Move: Stand, Standard...

Agreed. Players rolling OAs is the best way to keep the turns moving expediently. The only thing people need to be aware of is if the opponent has already made an OA that round.

Yeah, I realize that I didn't declare it the first time I used it, but I did declare it on my most recent to-hit roll (see the link). Unfortunately, I can only do it twice per encounter so I was trying to spread them out. I may reconsider that next encounter.

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

While invisible, Alastair grits his teeth and glares at the wizard as her magical daggers cut into him. "You and I will play later," he promises himself. "But one thing at a time," and he turns his focus to the mercenary blocking Abby. Alastair appears from thin air while firing a bolt of...

Taran, consider using Teleketic Leap on Eradan. Getting him into the fight would make a big difference now. Wik, Mercenary 1 is at -4 to hit thanks to Witchfire, so he's less likely to hit you now if you want to advance.

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

Alastair scrabbles his way through the fish, appearing out of thin air to brandish his wand at his cursed foe. The mystic energies of the Feywild produce a brilliant white flame that seems to ignite the mercenary's mind and body. Rivulets of argent fire stream up into the air from his eyes...

Adventure: A Fish Story (DM: BenBrown; Judge: renau1g)

Alastair scampers from his hiding spot, transforming into an indistinct blur of shadow. Those able to spot him notice that upon clearing the curtain, he pauses for a moment, gazing upon the 18,000 cubic feet of today's catch. "That's a lot of fish," he whispers to himself. He then...

Alastair has a +9 Bluff, but I don't see anyone to bluff at this point. I would go for it.
