I'd take anything inferred from the Desert of Desolation stat cards with more than a grain of salt, but for what it's worth, both tieflings (levels 4 and 7) have Resist 10 Fire and in the new miniatures rules resistance works the way it does in 3.5. cheers

More landscapes/complete scenes is something I've often missed in 3E, and I found a lot of the character illustrations to be anything but inspiring. I am glad that it seems we'll be getting some more evocative artwork from now on, though I have yet to see World's & Monsters for myself. cheers

What I'd really like to know at this point is whether the assumptions of +X implements, +Y armor and +Z cloak/necklace are also worked into the math for NPCs or if this is an instance of PCs and NPCs working on different formulas. cheers

The Cyclops with the glaive only has Reach 3. That's also true for his old skirmish stats, but it still struck me as odd. cheers

I haven't had a look at W&M yet, but "meh" just about sums up my opinion on R&C. It could've been a lot worse, but it didn't really excite. I liked it enough to borrow it, but not enough to actually read all of it (which isn't all that much). cheers
