If I was making a cleric for an upcoming game, it'd most likely be a human cleric of Erathis. Unless evil characters were allowed, in which case I'd probably choose between Bane and Asmodeus. cheers

I waited until 3.5 before I even bought my own third edition core rulebooks, and my "collection" now spans 6 books. In contrast, there are already several 4E supplements coming up that I am considering to buy (despite monetary troubles, which I did not have back then). cheers

I think of a theme for the campaign, along with a potential end or two. Then, I mix and match adventures of my own design, published adventures, and parts/concepts from those, depending on what fits into the grand scheme of things at the time. cheers

I've played at levels 1 through 4, 1 through 2 again and at 18th level. There's also a former 3.5 campaign that's supposed to continue at 21st, but I doubt that is going to happen. cheers

How many healing surges did you use? Was that your only encounter? While I've played at a higher level (18th), the experience has been somewhat limited so far. One encounter that turned out to be really easy probably would've been less so if that first round sleep spell hadn't landed. Another...

If it works for you, great. I am of the opinion that it is pretty bad. If a player was interested in taking it, I'd work with him to make some paragon path features specifically for his character, to fill in the blanks. cheers

I'll have to disagree with your first point as well. While your plan doesn't have to take into account the prerequisites for any number of prestige classes, you'll still need to think ahead to meet the prerequisites of feats (something magic items can no longer help you with, and attributes...

They might not lead directly up to the spellplague, much less take place during it, but aren't FR1-FR3 (Cormyr: The Tearing of the Weave, Shadowdale: The Scouring Of The Land, and Anauroch: The Empire of Shade) meant to be a prelude of sorts? cheers

I think we've already seen about as many eladrin as we have had, say, halflings over the course of third edition. In our group, tieflings seem to be the least popular of the new races. cheers
