I have used Skaven, Kenku, and Goblinoids in more common areas of society, but I would not do so with most monsters. Especially Illithids. One of the things that turned me off about Planescape was the "Demons hanging out in bars" aspect. I don't want to recreate the humanization of monsters...

You may want to check the review on this site or the message board on Alderac's site. Both have good comments on the book. I have only skimmed it, but I like what I saw. Well.. except the power armor, but the rest of it looks cool. SD

Re: kid? what kid? i don't remember any kid. I only saw the last third of the first season, but didn't he take an innocent women as a shield/hostage that led to her immediate death? And while I think the guy in the beginning deserved to die- I would have preferred a public hanging. heehee. SD

I agree. I would love for AEG to do a whole book expanding their base idea for general d20. I would love to use these rules in d&d. SD
