Well, we had an incredible weekend thanks to you folks and (hopefully) a bit of word of mouth going out. It's much appreciated!

That alone is already tremendous feedback. It's very gratifying to know I've helped inspire ideas.

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

I mean realistically "Demon Prince" has always been a title that makes me chuckle because anyone who claims it is essentially challenging anyone else to come take it from them. Meanwhile plenty of "mere" demon lords are Queen, King, Baron, Count, usually not Duke...

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

With the caveat that it was not my choice... it was noted that they get a lot of callouts and support in official products already. Now, that being said... well, I'm not allowed to say what I would want to say but watch this space. See above, regarding this space and the watching thereof. I...

Indeed, and it's only good for 2023, so take advantage if you can! I hope everyone who has picked up a copy is enjoying it - looking forward to feedback as it comes in. Still here to answer questions as needed.

Ahh, then yes: All PDF purchasers will get a discount on the physical copy equal to the price of the PDF, once POD becomes available.

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

My view of Planescape is that D&D has largely contiguous lore stretching back to the dawn of time - the 2E setting heavily influenced how people would react to the surreal landscapes and surreal situations with a balance of Clueless wonder and Planar cynicism, but for this book we wanted to...

Appreciate the heads-up, and yes, it's going through multiple additional passes for things that sneaked by us. I'm glad to hear that, bringing back the obyriths in style was a goal of mine here. I just hope I did them justice - especially with two new ones joining the fray.

I mean, given that I'm the resident chaotic evil person on the project, arguably "what I'm supposed to do."

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

So update on this - it seems the two main ways to get to POD are either arranging permission prior to publication (which was done with Planescape: Metropolis) or hitting the sales target. The project lead for our book and Planescape: Metropolis are actually the same person, so he was able to...

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

Well darn! Thank you for the heads-up! I will let the project lead know and see if there's a way for us to pursue similar sneakiness. I suspect our PoD timeline will be a bit longer regardless for some... ahem... positive reasons I cannot get into... Anyone able to give feedback to @TravDoc42...

Ahhh that would do it, the Living campaign modules are just about the only thing I do not have reliable access to. Their canonicity is also a struggle due to licensing issues, if I recall. If you still have any of your material I would love to see it.

A rare circumstance where you have me stumped - is this a thing in canon?

Much appreciated! Really hoping we delivered worthwhile content. I know the alternate preview showcases a few of my fiends - hoping to find out how people enjoy them.

Planescape Manual of the Planes for 5e on DMSGuild

Externally imposed? No. A decision was made early on that this book should be compatible in chief with 5E canon material whenever a conflict might exist; within that framework, we were free to offer embellishments and we pushed the envelope with addition (fleshing out the Positive and Negative...

Ooh, good catches, will update. I'm glad. I was hoping poor old Lord Sortlyn in particular wouldn't be so ubiquitous that he got to be grating.

Interesting idea. Of course it's important to keep the balance between the Elemental Chaos, the Far Realm, Limbo, and places like the Hinterlands. I can't wait to get feedback on the Outer Planes, incidentally. Looking forward to seeing people's thoughts!
