Roguerouge and I went this afternoon and bought a crapload of books. I think I had a moment of dorkgasmic bliss there. It was weird. No BoVD found. Picked up 3E splatbooks (yay!), d20 Modern stuffs and a few other books. Okay, like $100 of $8 books. Next up: More shelving.

Pandemonium, for sure. I live in Davis, so I go to Your Move pretty often. Unfortunately, some of the kids who go there think that "browsing while female" is asking to be hit on. Bad. It's also mini-weak. Hobby Bunker up in Malden has a good selection of minis and stocks Reaper miniatures...

Baking goodies for the session and helping with website maintenance. (...Even though I accidentally killed part of it... I'm rebuilding! I swear!) And for the DM who's poking me in the arm and asking, "Hey! What about THIS DM?" -- I thank him with some smooches, cooking for him and asking...

The most commonly used song I have in my bard's repetoire is by Deep Purple. :D She also has some Kelly Clarkson, Pat Benetar, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin. I write a few once in a while for action points.

I do have a fondness for playing the half-elf or elf-blooded sort. No extra skill points for me, though. Aw! :( (+1 in CHA. Bard!)

I realize that it can go both ways, but I was referring to the whole anonymous approach by a 14 year old girl as creepy. Strange girl, internet, minor... all signs point to "creepy." However, I'd also call an older group actively pursuing a lone, strange 14 year old girl as a player creepy...

Female point of view: Creepy. Also, were I in a gaming group, average age 30, considering allowing a 14 year old girl in, I'd be incredibly uncomfortable as a gamer.

No amount of rendering can make that not look like an 80s television reject. /actual professional opinion.

Spells got ALL changed up. Lots of durations got cut down (e.g. Charm Person went from being 1 day/level to 1 HOUR/level) which certainly points to less focus on spells. Class features got shuffled around too (including prestige classes). The monk and duelist are the ones that immediately pop...

Okay, now all I have to do is decide whether to waste a spell known on "Comprehend Languages" or waste a skill point on Orcish.
