I think there should be a rule against parrying when you have weapons that are one size category larger than you and no parrying for some weapons. I imagine it'd be hard to parry with a greatsword or greataxe, and I think it'd also be hard to parry with...I can't think of a small weapon that's...

There are billions of ways to make rules broken, 3.5 tries to cut down on them, but I think eventually it comes down to the DM saying yes or no to what the character wants to do...within reason of course.

this kind of goes against the whole everything that kind of gets close to eternal youth. All things are "you can be brought back, and you can look young, but when your time comes, you die" types of things. There are a few spells in the scarred lands books for turning back time at certain costs...

summoning it for a certain amount of time kind of ruins the mount thing, but applying a celestial or half-celestial template for a certain amount of time per day sounds interesting. Then again, how much time, and would the abilities or the time increase with level increase. Just thought of...
