I am dating myself, but it was an optional stat from 1E for physical appearance. Charisma IMO, just does not cut it. Have you considered the Iron Kingdoms setting from Privateer Press?

Reading the novels and all that are great but having a Corebook handy for those who are not familiar with the series or the setting is even better.

So does any other setting of the modern and future genre if you want to go that route....

While its your group and you know what you want, I would never so readily write off a new player to either the game or the group before he/she gets comfortable and finds his niche. Players may be a dime a dozen but ones that are interested in the game and add something unique to the game are...

Don't lie, be honest with the problem player. In fact sit him down and talk about the issues and why they are not being invited back. it may be too late to save them for your game but if the problem player has any sort of common sense he/she will take the lessons learned and hopefully they will...

Wilkies was moved to Gottigen street and has been since renamed the Comic Book Lounge. IMO its the better of the stores in the Halifax area.

Up here in Canada, gaming is alive and well in the CF. From my experience the largest contingents of gamers seem to be with the Army, with smaller groups in the Navy.

I felt the same, it was a waste of money IMO.

I have not bought neither a Dragon nor a Dungeon magazine in a long long time so it does not really bother me either way. It was always good knowing there was something out there should I need it.

I am not sure why one would not just track "ammo" with tally marks and at the end of the battle or what have you, that is how many you have left. For example your 1st level ranger starts off with 30 arrows, he fires of 12 in a battle with orcs, there is 18 left. How could he have any more or any...
