Who are some of your faves? I strongly recommend David Weber who writes the Honour Harrington series. David Sherman and Dan Cragg also write an awesome series about a Marine FIST which would make a great D20 setting for D20 Future.

Although I don't use any the paranormal aspects of Spycraft your idea sounds pretty cool. Another book I suggest that you might want to use as filler material is Lammas Nights by Katherine Kurtz > it explores the use of magic during World War 2.

I think special forces should be an advanced class instead of being part of the military occupation.

The license built version of the M16A2 made in Canada is the C7 and it is a full auto weapon. dkilgo: Are you looking for the stats of the M249 (also know an the FN Minimi)? SAW in any publication I have ever seen meant squad automatic weapon .

Actually you did Sean, in your opening paragraph when you first submitted the M134 here. "M134 This vicious 7.62mm heavy machine gun is generally seen installed in helicopters and mounted on heavy military vehicles, such as the Hummer and various tanks"

When taught how to use full automatic weapons soldiers are taught all the basics and techniques of handling that weapon so in a way the skill should encompass full automatic fire and burst fire and not different feats.

Moot point...but I have looked in Janes and cannot find a tank with the M134 as part of its weaponry.

They are a nuclear power but 3rd is kind of hard to believe without proof.

Weapons in Use I really liked the book although too bad Charles Ryan was totally off when it came to what weapons Canada uses.

FYI "The UK's Subs would be well into the Atlantic by this time, the French Aircraft Carriers would be crawling the Atlantic and Med Sea." Just so you know the French only have 1 aircraft carrier (CHarles de Gaulle) in service.
