Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

Still in transit, my party mowed down White Tusk and his hunting party, leaving a lone survivor on his canoe with no paddle. They continued north, running into the ice demon, which didn't last very long. Dropped the munitions off at Fire Axe's camp and headed to the southern shore of Lake...

How do you deal with Hardness 20? (Spoilers for The Infernal Syndrome)

Depending on your lvl the cleric could easily summon a few monsters in that room. If you get enough creatures flanking and attacking, you should be able to take that thing down. Add in the fact that more creatures means that the cage has to attack them, then your squishier friends should be...

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

How many times has your party fought Varney and he lived? I would think that all of his run ins with the PCs have given him an insight into how they fight. or what their strengths or weaknesses might be.

    Rogues and Shields

from d20: "When you are using a shield with which you are not proficient, you take the shield's armor check penalty on attack rolls and on all skill checks that involve moving."

[FMG] 1000 Copies of "Way of the Wicked" sold!

I am enjoying running this AP for my players, and they seem to be enjoying themselves as well. it's a great product!

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

Not really. I am not disappointed or anything, just uncertain how to push them to be evil, without actually forcing their hand.

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

After the third session, the players progressed through the Nine Lessons, induction/training as the Nessian Knot, and now they are on the Frosthammer, headed north. Overall the Nine Lessons were pretty good, traps and hidden doors around every corner kept my players on their toes.

    Are feats selections too limited?

Personally, I would love to be able to take a feat every level. I think it's fun choosing what to pick and seeing how it affects play (very little or a lot depending on what you choose). However, part of the fun is picking feats within the constraints of the game. As an example, I play a...

    Feat changes critiques.

As someone who plays a spell casting wild shaped druid, i would not want to play in a game of PF where Natural Spell does not exist. that screws over the druid class and no one else, while the other two can be taken by just about every other class.

Gunslinger Prestige Class and lv5 effective builds

Don't forget you need to reload, so half those pistols will be dropped, and i would think you'd need a full round action to load half of them.

Gunslinger Prestige Class and lv5 effective builds

I didn't check under third party prestige classes, but on the d20 site, it has a whole bunch more, including this gunslinger prestige class.

Gunslinger Prestige Class and lv5 effective builds

I too play a gunslinger, though I am only lvl 3 at the moment. I am not sure why people don't enjoy the class, i think it's pretty fun. I enjoy the gunslinger flavor and grit is a fun pool of points to draw upon. As far as Prestige classes, i don't think any of them are particularly geared...

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

I guess expecting them to be maliciously evil off the bat is too high of expectation.

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

SPOILERS Gary, Yes, escaped from Branderscar and made it to the mansion. to answer your question: No, they forced him out of the cage and down the stairs to fight the guards in the hall. They heard the sound of battle and came down to watch Grumblejack fight the guards in the hall and...

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

I recently started this AP with an extra two people (ranger, rogue, summoner, witch, sorcerer, and wizard) and it has gotten some good reviews from them thus far. They successfully escaped Branderscar and are currently in the middle of the Nine Lessons. There was some party in-fighting and...

seeking advice: playing a Vampire Druid?

Like everyone has said, talking to your DM is the first and most important step. After that, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to play a vampire druid. there are plenty of parasites in nature, and while vampires are undead, their animal counterparts are just blood suckers. If you once...

Pathfinder 1E Weekly game cancelled - entertaining myself with Haunting of Harrowstone analysis

Our group has been doing the Carrion Crown AP for 18-19 sessions now, currently wading through the 4th book. I heartily enjoy your review of the first book, the Haunting of Harrowstone. I know our party found the prison to be pretty tricky, as no one but our halfling could knock down any of...

Pathfinder 1E Advice for way of the wicked?

About to start up the first book, any suggestions on lvl progression? Fast or Medium? (I think slow is too slow to use).

    Help Me Try the Gunslinger

I am playing a gunslinger in a Kingmaker campaign, and we started out at lvl 1 and are now at lvl 3. Attacking against touch ac is probably the best part of the gunslinger class. I just went standard pistol gunslinger, and I'm not sure I have missed very much. I took rapid reload as a first...

    Animal Companions for Roguish Rangers

I don't know how much your GM would be willing to make some changes or give powers, but if you can get a raccoon, re-flavor it to a Tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog). They are a staple of Japanese myth and lore. They have magical powers like minor shape shifting and turning to stone. plus there...
