Meh. Levels 1 thru 5 dont take that much time investment. Getting past 10th takes alot more time and investment. Back in my last campaign played it took 5 to 6 years playing 2 to 3 times a month to get to 19th level. I could have played many many characters from 1st to 5th in the same time period

You do know you can buy previous edition products in print on demand over at drivethrurpg.com and that many folks already do, right? They dont have to product anything new for older editions, just keep making them available in PoD form

Honestly? Irrelevant to me. Still have a ton of PF1 stuff we havent finished, we also enjoy that system. Further, 5e is still enjoyable for something lighter and easy to find other players

Right. But stating how many forum users doesnt necessarily equate to number of subscribers. Thats my issue. I am still a registered forum user, so counting me in those numbers, if one is using it as potential subscriber numbers, wont add up. I doubt im the only one

But if your counting numbers like the post said, you cant count number of forum users for purposes of comparing amazon sales. In that case its seperate. Or you have to go through each member still subscribes.( all have totlrs by names)

Forum members and subscribers are seperate things. I am a forum member still. But i stopped being a subscriber back in 2011/2012. ( was a charter subscriber member originally). Still have a forum membership, mostly for starfinder and mine some of older AP forums. I cant be the only forum...

Update something from the past or homebrew and/or kitbash one together from the current releases. Or look to third party- goodman games, frog god games or legendary games, troll lord games for example. As much as i enjoy the 5e core rulset, and its good its brought newer players into the game...

I wouldnt say lazy. But reskinning old adventures into the new ruleset isnt exactly ground breaking. And at least 2 books- yawning portal and saltmarch are just rule updates to old adventures, not even redskinned and updated like say CoS/ ravenloft or elemental evils one. P2 or rather piazo...
