Valurel turns to his companions, a questioning look on his face. Speaking slowly and choosing his words carefully he asks, "What is it that causes the gnome to talk so passionately? What do they plan to do with us? Will they help?"

Anthony ponders her words a moment before speaking. "Would it be possible to meet the writer of this play? Was he in attendance tonight?"

Femi dives for cover behind a chair or will even turn a table over on its side for cover if necessary. He then pulls his blaster and tries to figure out who is firing on them and from where.

Valurel nods tiredly to his companions. He gets up and walks over to them. "Good to see you all safe, especially you little one," he says, placing a hand on her head.

I updated my character (back on page 2) to 4th level. Went up as Ranger. Also selected Magical Beasts as his favored enemy since I never decided on one when I created the character. I figure it is only natural that he have that as favored enemy after the Manticore.
