    You know, I hardly look at any of the illustrations in the new books. Maybe the monsters a bit, but little else. So infused are the old images in my head. I miss the simple black and white images of the 1e books. They were perfect in their feel.

    Once they finish up 3.5, I plan to stop buying books altogether. I might just pick up some minis from time to time, but that's about it, really. Unless of course they release a campaign setting book for Greyhawk.

    Gaming stores rarely discount the most recent releases from gaming publishers. As a result, they get killed by sellers like Amazon. If they refuse to compete in the marketplace or, worse, expect people to willingly throw away money in order to 'support' their store, they deserve to go under...
