    DDM Pictures

Right, and that's actually what I'm looking for -- people's favorite personal photos. And maybe some stuff that's been posted on various forums.

    DDM Pictures

I'm working on a sooper-secret project, and I'd love it if any of you would be willing to post or PM me a few of your favorite D&D Miniatures-related pictures. Pictures can be of people, events, posters/flyers, repaints, mods, whatever. They can be funny or serious. You should be fairly sure...

The Nature of Change (or, Understanding Edition Wars)

I agree, Umbran. I think the internet also makes a difference in terms of anonymity. I read incredibly rude posts, and I'm pretty sure that few people actually would say those things face-to-face.

What would it take for 4E to win over the old guard? (Forked Thread: Changeover Poll)

I guess I'm part of the 'old guard'. I've been playing for about thirty years. I like 4E a lot. I haven't voted in the poll, though, because none of the choices are satisfactory.

The Nature of Change (or, Understanding Edition Wars)

Of course some people prefer one edition over another. That actually has nothing to do with the OP's thesis. He's not saying that people who don't like 4E are resistant to change. He's saying that 'Edition Wars' -- as opposed to personal preferences -- have roots in people's responses to change...

Anyone else laugh at Dangers of the Demonweb?

I've heard mostly positive feedback about the article.

What's up with the new D&D miniatures?

Upon the release of Dangerous Delves and Player's Handbook Heroes 1 on May 19, 2009, Wizards of the Coast will no longer package the D&D Miniatures line in its current configuration (fully randomized booster packs and huge packs). This means that November’s set -- D&D Miniatures: Demonweb -- was...

New D&D Mini Fails and then...

The DDM Guild will be licensed to continue development of the D&D Miniatures skirmish rules, but I don't know of any other tabletop licenses. I suspect that cancellation would happen before we'd see production licensed to another entity, but that's a pure guess on my part.

DDM Guild: Call for Chapter Masters

We've had a great response to our call for Chapter Masters. We've started to develop a map that will be included on our full website, and I love to see all those little virutal pushpins. We have several Chapters established in the US and abroad, including Costa Rica, the Netherlands, and the...

    The Tome Show: DDM Update

If you'd like to learn a bit more about the DDM Guild -- or just want to hear me blather, check out Episode 92 of the Tome Show.

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

Heh, I hear that. I've been a bit disappointed at the lack of discussion on Hordelings. Ah well, ebb and flow ...

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

Yeah, it's not out of the realm of possibility that we might have our own forum eventually -- or point to one of the forums as a main. I think we'll always have to deal with the issue of people being spread out. We'll definitely post official news on the Guild website, and maybe we can even have...

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

Yeah, I'm not sure what's become of Bert. The Guild has finalized a list of candidates for the 1.0 Design Lead, and we should have a selection to announce within a couple of weeks.

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

I love Hordelings, and I agree that it's a great place to discuss DDM. Kevin has put a ton of work into it, and it will be around for a long while to come. However, I wouldn't characterize it as the main forum. I post everything on all of the major forums. We've actually seen the most discussion...

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

I appreciate your input, even when I disagree. I won't rule out the possibility entirely, but right now maintaining our own forums isn't anywhere near the top of our priority list. Given the existence of ddmSpoilers, ENWorld, Hordelings, Maxminis, and the WotC forum, we feel that there are...

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

Yeah, I'd like to see the website expanded ASAP, too. However, I'll still be visiting the forums, spreading the word, and joining the discussion. It's part o' me job. Hey, yeah, that does look like a magic item for DDM, doesn't it? Hmmm ...

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

I'm not sure why you thought that, but thanks for the crabcakes ;) The full website will be up in January. We kinda have our hands full for the time being.

    Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter

We're happy to announce the publication of the first issue of Unbroken: The DDM Guild Newsletter. The inaugural issue presents updates from our Design, Organized Play, and Chapter Leads. We're working hard, getting ready for the official hand-off of the D&D Miniatures Game in February 2008...

    DDM Guild: Our New Logo!

Recently, the DDM Guild put out a call for submissions of a logo design. We received several fine submissions, but one logo in particular stood out to us. This design by Joel Broveleit (Demetri0us) is simple, powerful, and recognizable. It evokes the early days of D&D Miniatures and is itself a...
