    Dungeon Tiles - Volcanic/Lava Tiles

I'm trying to increase my limited photoshop skills a bit and was messing around the other day trying to create some lava textures. I decided to go ahead and attempt to make some volcanic dungeon tiles for my game, since I have none. I'm not a great designer, artist, or anything of the sort...

Disappointed in Dungeon, at least for adventures.

Here is a list of all the Dungeon adventures by level: I'm not sure if a DDI acount is required to access this list, btw.

Disappointed in Dungeon, at least for adventures.

For what it's worth, I give my players a fullscale colored map of an encounter when it warrants it (nice set piece, meaningful encounter) I scale the maps up right from the pdf's on photoshop, although GIMP does it as well... Follow this link for a tutorial.

D&D with my 4 year old daughter

Technically, in this game the enemies get "knocked out".... :) There's no killing. :) But I know what you mean....

D&D with my 4 year old daughter

My daughter has developed a very strong interest in D&D, she sees my players come over the house, the minis, the maps, and she's really drawn to it. I started playing a basic minis and maps game with her, without dice, but she knew I was holding back. She likes rolling dice. So, without her...

    [4e] Combat Tracker Utility

I'm also hoping for some good documentation. I'm trying to sell people on how good this is, but it lacks good documentation to teach people how to really use it. I accidentally stumbled on the fact that you can assign what conditions characters and monsters cause, then just have them a click...

    [4e] Combat Tracker Utility

Man, this has become my program of choice at the table, I'd hate to see it fall by the wayside. On that note, I have a question... is there's no way for the program to pull the text of the pc powers off the compendium or character builder file, rather than me filling them by cut-n-paste?

    [4e] Combat Tracker Utility

What a great program. I used it this week for the first time in my game and I love everything about it. The fact that you can paste the rich text from the monster builder and load characters form the character builder make this invaluable to me. Thanks for making it and continuing to update it!

    Maps supporting 3D combats

Let me chime in here real quick... each wooden dowel represents about a square's worth of height... so in my picture there, (the second link) that second story is 10' up. The dowels are about 1" or so high, so they make a good reference for height.

Very disappointed in DU5: Sinister Woods

For what it's worth, I recently reviewed this set on my site , and took pictures of every single tile in the set. I like it, because I combined it with the Ruins of the Wild set, which I feel is it's biggest strength.

Need a map of a fantasy library

Maybe someone can help me out. I'm planning on ending my player's Heroic Tier in a battle at a library. I'm using the Rahesh: City Entombed from Dragon Magazine, and want the players to confront some of Orcus' minions, who are searching for the Raven Queen's real name at this library. I need...

Can anyone recommend any good 4e or non-old school blogs?

I'll pimp my own blog, www.newbiedm.com I tend to blog from the perspective of a new Dungeon Master, and have many articles useful to a person venturing out into the DM frontier for the first time. There's plenty of tutorials there to learn how to make gaming tokens, printing maps at scale...
