    What do you do for...Vampires?

I usually run them as, when they drop below 1hp, they regen a hit point a round until they are up to 1. The only way to bypass this is by destroying the heart, removing the head, sunlight, or fire.

    Saving Throw issue with DM

I wasn't trying to come off as saying the OP was either a munchkin or a Cherry picker, I was just trying to point out an example why a GM might make such a rule. I probably should have been more clear on that, so it's my bad. You are right, though, about removing favored class and xp penalties...

    Saving Throw issue with DM

I'm curious, how does a fighter dipping into, say, barbarian, get handicapped in other ways? Anyways, I was merely pointing out my opinion Werk, not looking for a fight. This is why Pallandrome clearly states it as a house rule in Pallandrome's game. It's not an insult, it's just an opinion...

    Saving Throw issue with DM

This still does not mean it makes logical sense. this means it makes BALANCE sense. However, it is in the rules, and as long as the GM doesn't Rule 0 it, you should get it.

    Saving Throw issue with DM

Meh, cherry picking it a time honored practice among munchkins (not that I'm saying the OP is one, I don't know him from Adam), and at least for melee classes, usually garners more benefits than drawbacks. This, however, I agree with. Houserules are all fine and dandy, but need to be...

    Saving Throw issue with DM

Fair enough, look under "Rule Zero" That being said, I agree entirely with your GM. One should not gain massive saves from multiclassing. it makes no logical sense.

    Dividing XP among characters

This can actually be extended to ANY rewards in a non-competative game. The gold the team gets provides a similarly arbitrary (and similarly meaningless) boost in power. The party, in most cases, will remain very close in power level to the villains they are in contest against, no matter how...

    Wish Spell usage

Just a suggestion, make the spell delay for one day and one hour. That way, if your party can prepare and cast True Res on you, you won't lose a level, because raise dead will fizzle.

    Touch Spells and missed attacks

Fun trick! Cast a touch attack before the encounter, then strike a deal to work for the bad guy. Seal the deal with a shake of the hands.

    Dividing XP among characters

I do not split the XP for a scouting character. After all, the Full Plate, Tower Shield wearing fighter helped by not being stupid enough to go scouting with the rogue.

Good sorcerers can't cast [Evil] spells!

This may be completely off topic, but in my campaign, any paladin stupid enough to attack someone who doesn't deserve it, doesn't get to stay a paladin for very long.

    Dividing XP among characters

Not if the OP is looking for opinions on houseruling it otherwise. Rule 0 and all that.

    Dragon Disciple vs. 1/2 dragon?

Ewwww, in that case, Only take a single level of your chosen spontanious casting class. Everything else should be Barbarian until you go into Dragon Disciple. You'll need every damn hitpoint you can scrape together...

Do you need to meet the CL listed to make an item?

Nope, this would be one of those "Exception to the rule" cases. Rules specific to each item always takes precidence.

    Where would you put it?

Make the phylactery a clear, solid sphere of some sort. Sail out to the middle of the ocean. Summon the most powerful elemental you can bind to a task (If you can somehow hook a water elemental monolith into this, bonus points!) and have it take the sphere to the bottom of the ocean, and protect...

    Dividing XP among characters

Yeah, unless you wanna really piss off half the members of the group for no good reason, don't penalize them for rolling well on init, or rolling poorly on init. As for the surgery bit, give xp to everyone, because even if they didn't participate in the surgery, they did avoid doing the WRONG...

    Dragon Disciple vs. 1/2 dragon?

Yeah, true strike + 30 (or more) strength + power attack = dead everything.

Good sorcerers can't cast [Evil] spells!

Actually, he does have cure spells on his "spells known" list.

    Dragon Disciple vs. 1/2 dragon?

Battle Sorcerer + Dragon Disciple is hella fun. Play an Orc for added bonus points.

Good sorcerers can't cast [Evil] spells!

Yeah, see it's one of those things that they cleared up, but never bothered to move into the new edition. Sometimes, I swear it's like herding cats. Or children. Meybe cats riding children, I don't know.
