It means that the first 30 poits of Fire Damage are negated. If damage reduction is written like this 10/+1 it means that the first 10 points of damage are negated unless it is struck by a weapon greater than +1. Hope this helps

He is overall a 'good' char. And yes, typical Ale and Axe dwarf (is there any other kind :) He tries to lead the party in the direction of good and keeping their word. Not quite LG but has some LG tendencies.

The Prestige Class, Dwarven Defender from the DMG lists the class getting a AC bonus, maxing out at i believe +4 at 10th level. It does not however say where this bonus comes from or what type it is?? Please help. P.S. Also has anyone ever played this PrC. I think it is really cool, but...

When creating an item, lets say a wondrous item. If you have the Create Wondrous Item Feat and the applicable level requirement, but dont have access to the needed spell, can you have someone else with the spell cast it for you. Or could you use it from a scoll??? :) Thanks
