I am not the head DM so I did not make the rules on PC's, but we take what we roll. However, when I guest DM, I usally take the avg hp's, but when I do roll for monster hp's I re-roll 1's always but don't tell the others that...;)

I thought it was a great game. I believe the patch added more save points. I never heard about the hack allowing you to save at any point. There are a few spots in the game where the save points suck, but for the most part it did not come up with me. Good Luck, have fun.

Ditto Seemed like it was nothing more than the player info pulled from the Campaign Setting book. It really turned me off. I have been very leary of buying books because of that. Although the DMG II looks interesting.

Another tip is change the name of the router and tell it not to broadcast the name. IE: Linksys is the default name for linksys routers. If you change that to bob and tell the router not to broadcast the name then anyone connecting to your router will have to know and key in the name before...
