    D&D 3E/3.5 What do you ban? (3.5)

You compared maneuvers to spells. I'm pretty sure spells are an accepted part of the game. Unless you have a house rule you would like to share with us that changes that. While simultaneously saying that ToB is not enough like contemporary martial arts you are referring me to archaic...

    D&D 3E/3.5 What do you ban? (3.5)

The gall of the ToB:Bo9S publishers to implement similar mechanics to those already accepted in the game in an attempt to reach balance. Adept You collection of house rules (which you keep posting and conveniently have one for every argument posed) basically undermines the entire system of...

    D&D 3E/3.5 What do you ban? (3.5)

Just my 2cp, this is correct. Chi and body energy is just physiology. I study Goju Ryu and while we don't do Five Shadow Creeping Ice Enervation Strike, we learn to manipulate the body. For instance, there is a nerve plexus right above the sternum, hitting someone hard enough there will cause a...

    Gaining Domain Powers

I would take that feat, like Spell Pen for dispel.

    Gaining Domain Powers

TBH, I just wanted to gain the domain powers of Inquisition (+4 dispel) and Purification (+1 CL to Abjuration) in order to boost my dispelling. This is mostly because I have not noticed any feats that actually do power up dispelling. Also, Celerity's power can be acquired by a regional feat...

    Gaining Domain Powers

I was afraad that there was no simple, low-level way to get domain powers, in spire of them being often compared to feats. Thank you for aid, though.

    Gaining Domain Powers

Ok, let's try a different approach. Would it be abusable if I created a feat to give one domain power of a domain granted by the person's diety?

    Gaining Domain Powers

I would like to know of any ways to give a Cleric a domain granted power, aside from acquiring an additional domain. I am aware of Planar Touchstone, I was just looking for something with a little less baggage.

    BAB vs AC?

I have always really liked the single weapon style, but there is virtually nothing printed for it that is worth while. What types of things do you do to buff it? Also, I find armor is still useful up to about level 10-14. I have a cleric with a mount (using Ride to give +4 cover AC), defending...

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Psionics.

All that power... My psionic power will be a god, wearing punpun as a freaking hat. But seriously, nice link.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Psionics.

I've recently started to use psionics as well, it differs from magic in a few ways. It is not as powerful as Wizards, Clerics, and Druids simply because there aren't as many splat book resources. That said, it only really matters if you play high-op games. Psionic characters can, essentially...

    Slam Attack w/ Sneak Attack

This could just be an issue of balance (equilibrium, not game balance). It's hard to kick something and swing a weapon at the same time. I'm just basing this on the fact that the Monk specifically says that he can make an unarmed attack with a kick, knee, etc with both hands full; I assume this...

In need of good ideas for spells to use with Permanent Emanation Feat!

That's quite a list, but it doesn't conain my favorite: Greater Consumptive Field. This spell has a chance (Will negates) to kill anything at 9hp or fewer and grants you 1d8 temporary hp, +2 untyped Strength bonus and +1 CL (up to half of your normal CL). 30ft rad emanation.

Horzon Walker's Planar Terrain Mastery Alternative

Awsome, I think I have a build now.

Horzon Walker's Planar Terrain Mastery Alternative

I don't mind this at all, one psionic power is hardly too full caster-ish. Plus, if I take Kalashtar as my race I can get it 1/level/day. I can even slap this on the Warlock that was being talked about. Although, on the topic of Warlock and Psioncs: Does Stand Still actually work with the...

Horzon Walker's Planar Terrain Mastery Alternative

You're right, Flee the Scene is exactly DD, plus a Major Image left in your place.

Horzon Walker's Planar Terrain Mastery Alternative

Couldn't you just quicken Flee the Scene and use the full action for the Glaive?

    D&D 3E/3.5 What do you ban? (3.5)

Celebrim, I do greatly enjoy the fact that you have reached the point of attacking the way Wyvernhand and I have been presenting our arguments, rather than creating an actual counterargument. It is apparent that you are no longer open to rational discussion, so I will leave you to whatever...

    D&D 3E/3.5 What do you ban? (3.5)

In response to the amount of multiclassing of Fistbeard Beardfist: Referencing playing with someone using Fistbeard Beardfist: The "iron fist" comment was mostly directed at this method of thinking:

New class I found in psi book called erudite

Unique is used to mean different. An Erudite gains more powers known than a Psion, since he can learn them from Power Crystals (psionic Scrolls) or from other psionic characters (think of a Wizard assing spells to his spellbook). In exchange for this much larger powers known list, the Erudite...
