You guys have any luck finding games through the Meetup site? I've inquired about two games, but haven't gotten into one yet. I suppose, if I ever buy furniture I might run something. I'm admittedly none too thrilled with 4e right now, so despite just buying the books (Core Set + 1 extra PH)...

What of Familiars and where would/could they fit? They seem as much a part of traditional D&D as companion animals, summons or henchmen. I was toying with the idea of having them as Implements, with Feats to improve them (or expand the selection of choices), but haven't worked out the details...

Heh, I ran a "Shadow-Dawn" campaign once. I started players in SR (2.0e) and then had SR's signature character Harlequin show up. He (eventually) brought the party to a revived portal in Aztlan in order to transport them back to ED to "fix" some things that were going wrong in the SR timeline...
