    Transformers-The Movie

Yeah I enjoyed it too. One of my favourite episodes was when Mek-a-nek was depressed over how lame his power was.

    D.O.A. trailer - it's good

LOL I think The Goddess Alba has already said she won't be doing nudity in any of her flicks anytime soon. Even so, I suspect FF is the wrong place to be looking for it anyway. But she's probably nude under all that fire in that one scene. Does that help you out? ;)

    D.O.A. trailer - it's good

That depends if we can list animated movies. Street Fighter: The Animated Movie is decent (although, I guess the plot can't exactly be called fabulous). Also, Final Fantasy: Advent Children was pretty good.

    Marvel Universe - update me?

I don't generally have a problem with the actual heroes (such as Mar-vell) coming back to life, but when sidekicks and supporting cast (non-super) do it it seems pointless and cheesy. Just IMO of course.

    Marvel Universe - update me?

Buh? Ok, I'll just try not to think about it.

    Marvel Universe - update me?

Well I guess that is all a little better but still. Why can't they just leave some characters dead? Does bringing them back really have much of an impact with the readers anymore?

    Marvel Universe - update me?

Ugh I've managed to miss all that. Uncle Ben? Geeeeze. Who's next, Gwen Stacey? :\

    Marvel Universe - update me?

In the mid 90's they did something called the Onslaught Impact; basically an X-men villain with the power of Prof Xavier and Franklin Richards was wreaking havok throughout the Marvel U. Eventually, most of the main Marvel Heroes (except Spider Man) got together to confront him. The Hulk...

    No! No! Baaaaaaad Marvel Comics!

AH ic. Back then I was randomly getting issues of Spiderman (whatever my parents decided to pick up for me really). All I've got is that one issue of Spidey where he starts fighting him and the issue of Avengers where they get there when it is all done. I never realized it wasn't the symbiote...

    No! No! Baaaaaaad Marvel Comics!

Well we don't really know the circumstances around the power switch. It could be more complicated or circumstantial than that. Also, couldn't the Surfer pretty much reduce any one of the FF to atoms *without* switching their powers first? Wasn't he wearing the venom costume at the time? Also I...

    BWAHAHAHA Nice.

    No! No! Baaaaaaad Marvel Comics!

I think what he was saying is that the indication seems to be that the power-switching was some sort of *side-effect* of contact with the Surfer. If there was some reason to believe that SS did it on purpose then I missed it.

Giants in the Earth discussion: Madmartigan & other Willow characters

I stuck to the movie as I thought the books (the Shadow War books penned by Clairemont) deviated too far from the film. I used 28-point buy for everyone but Bavmorda who got 32 points and I stuck to the core rules for simplicity. I also only listed their most likely feats and skills...

Animated CONAN movie listed on website

There was a thread here about it a looooong time ago. The film is supposed to be based on the Red Nails story and was looking quite good until news about it seemed to dry up. I was wondering what was going on with it but this is the first I've heard of it in a while.

    Why Worldbuilding is Bad

Right. And like I said, if it doesn't benefit the campaign, then it shouldn't have a higher priority over what does. That philosophy stands for either worldbuilding-first or adventure-first. If you are designing an adventure path based on a specific theme for a group that wants to game in a...

    Why Worldbuilding is Bad

Is anyone here really advocating that the DM give priority to information that isn't going to benefit the campaign?

    Why Worldbuilding is Bad

I guess I kinda had it in my head that you were using the same characters in different campaigns or setting them in the same setting. Upon reflection, I guess each campaign would likely have different characters so changing the setting won't be a real issue, since the implication is that it is a...

    Putting Adventure First

Nice. I like it; I think it has a lot of potential. I don't have much to add at the moment but I've got a few thoughts: -Are the side treks going to stay within the theme or represent a brief departure from it? I think it would be cool if they were something different. -As far as the cabal is...
