I've mostly given up on FLGS purchases unless they're having a clearance sale. My preferred FLGS closed last June (the owner retired). The staff at the remaining option (two stores, same owner) is quite frankly clueless, and they'd rather check their e-bay auctions than actually (gasp) help a...
