    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Elemental Savant (fire) help

The class does say it changes your physical appearance to become more like the elemental chosen type, and anyone generally dealing with elementals will know what you are just by sight.

Feat that makes spells deal Half their damage as Fire

This sounds like it would be the best bet for what you want. I can't really think of anything along the lines of that beyond what was mentioned.

Feat that makes spells deal Half their damage as Fire

My train of thought was pretty much the exact same as yours, honestly. Except my druid uses Energy Admixture, because why not feats aren't important when I can shapeshift into anything I freaking want. PS. I've been gone so darn long I forget how to label my links like you guys did.

Feat that makes spells deal Half their damage as Fire

http://dndtools.eu/feats/complete-arcane--55/energy-admixture--871/ Energy Admixture does fairly the same thing and increases the damage of the spell, Granted it is a heavy level increase on the spell and is fairly useless without a way to decrease the 4 spell level increase. Or at least I'm 99%...

    Looking for some mage-hunting enemies

Forsaker is literally anti-magic in that they forsake magic in all of it's life and seek to destroy it, and being a base class it gets more powerful as it levels and more annoying. It isn't supremely powerful, but a fair challenge for less experienced players and a good speedbump for seasoned...

    Minimum damage rule

I have a sneaking suspicion that your DM was treating the crit as (die roll) x 2 = (Your crit total) Which in that case, through the magic of you actually rolling a 0 it became 0x2=0 (bump) =1.

D&D 5E "But Wizards Can Fly, Teleport and Turn People Into Frogs!"

In 3.5 that is WHY the Wizard was so powerful is because it wasn't a challenge when you used the non-damaging spells. Web, Grease, Evard's Black Hentai Death...etc. Were/are so powerful without actually adding any damage. It got to the point where I focused on the other part of Fireball (melting...

Holding a charge and spell conditions

Sounds like your DM is terribly petty to me.

    DDN needs more gods!

His quote is important, as the "sentence" he quoted wasn't a complete thought.

    Spell Resistance and Casting Tiem

Rewards not restrictions. Self-imposed restrictions are typically the only ones that end up being more fun in the end. If you reward someone for something rather than penalize you will see people focus on it more even if it is a +1 to something arbitrary. If you want to penalize, I suggest...

    Move and full attack

I would think even more than that, ranged would be practically pointless.

    New to D&D

I think the most important thing to remember is, is to not take anything personally. If your DM accidentally kills all of you with a house cat you should take it in stride and not complain about it for months on end. *You'd be surprised at how long people complain about dying, especially when it...

    Suping up a construct

I would have mine transform into a gun and name my PC Starscream.

Would like some help evaluating an item

Seems legit, Although I don't know why everyone typically feels that every weapon enchantment is worth a + enhancement bonus. There ARE things that just cost money and making every weapon a high + number is IMO lazy DMing... but I digress that is just me and I L-O-V-E custom creating items...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Using the 3.5 Stealth Rules

That stands true not just in Pen and Paper RPGs but even in video games also. Now for a reply, To make stealth work at all and not just get arbitrary you have to house rule a few things...because as RAW it is insanely tedious. Like the pointless -1 to perceptive skills based on distance isn't...

The Stealthy Game A GM Plays With Himself

I like this approach and use it as it is generally more engaging and what my players want. Although if they ALL fail I describe the area in great detail to make them think that was what I wanted them to see.

    Wishes question

The problem with forcing an ECL bump is that if he is playing a class with Wish or you give him the ability to get a Wish then he gets a wish granted and later you want to penalize him for using available resources that you allowed him to have in the first place? I don't really see the fairness...

    Balancing Wizards and Clerics

Tome of Battle tried that, it sort of works...sort of doesn't. Besides, giving everyone spells means that no one is special and I like the feel of being powerless to stop a wizard from casting spells and all I have as a defense is my own will power and physical strength. I love how a lot of the...
