Building a Monk/Summoner. Help me tweak him out?

As a Synthesist, your Eidolon directly replaces ALL you physical stats as long as you are fused to it. If you have a higher Con modifier, you suddenly have MORE hp once you Eidolon is dismissed. Like how a raging barbarian gains extra hp from his Con modifier going up. At least, that's how I...

Building a Monk/Summoner. Help me tweak him out?

Actually, you keep the eidolon till you run out of HP PERIOD because of life link. Also, if you have A con modifier higher than your eidolon, you can keep feeding it hitpoints till you reach zero, you go unconcious, at which point your Eidolon is dismissed, your Con modifier goes up, you regain...

Building a Monk/Summoner. Help me tweak him out?

Do you want a summoner that can get into meelee WITH its Eidolon or do you just want something like a Synthesist? You would probably lose monk unarmed strike when fusing with Eidolon. I'd like to suggest a level or 2 of Magus instead. Spell combat might come in pretty handy and should still be...

    Getting Rend as a Monk

Has he thought about giving up monk entirely? Cos theres nothing that says you eidolon can't be the super-wise-ancient-masters-of-kungfu. This might give him rend easily while still having the martial artist vibe.

Pathfinder 1E [PF] Monk n' Match

Because this is literally my first experience with PF and I really havent had time to crunch the numbers. Most things were taken on an 'Ooh, shiny' impulse so any advice at all will probably help. Only thing I really want to keep is Dragon. Stats at level 3, after racial. Tiger was taken...

Pathfinder 1E [PF] Monk n' Match

Hihi. Joining my first PF game and decided to give the monk another chance. I've decided to go crazy with the archetypes for the sheer cool-factor. The rest of party is Ranged Rogue, Ranged Ranger, Druid, Cleric and Sorc. Now I know what the initial impression is but the DM has stated that...

    Character build- is it legal?

Blighters? They might teach some outsiders Druidic since they seem to be more or less anti-Druids. Failing that, secrets can be gleamed, stolen, overheard and when all else fails, mindraped outta somebody.

    Monk?

I've seen that. Maybe it's just me but it looks inferior to straight Monk without ACFs. And that is seriously saying something. Heck, a lotta stuff from Dragon Mag seems underpowered. Or should that be reasonably powered? I jumped straight into DnD's deep optimization pool with 3 websites...

    Monk?

Arcane, Divine and Psionic... The prime examples of each, IIRC, are Wizard, Archivist and StP Erudite. Any ONE of which could shatter a campaign. Yes, I think that would be a bit much for 1 DM to handle. Maybe go for the iconic roles instead? Caster, Skillmonkey, etc? Back to Monk. BloodStorm...

    Angel of Light

Are your players SUPPOSE to be able to kill it eventually? If not, don't give it stats, just fluff. You can pretty much kill ANYTHING with stats. ANYTHING . Usually, reliably and repeatedly. Just give it the LoP treatment.

    Monk?

p.s. Lvl 7 says you have full concealment in less than full Sunlight.

    Monk?

Are you mostly using normal monk for those 8 levels? Monk has the most ACF outta the core classes, IIRC. Theres walk on water at your slowfall speed, Holystrike, Wall walker. And let's not forget Dark Moon disciple's lvl 7. Carry an umbrella on you and ALWAYS have total concealment.

    Monk?

That's strange, I thouhgt CR X was an appropriate challenge for FOUR X leveled PCs. How does it become an appropriate for X+2? He has a quarter of the actions. Or do you mean appropriate as in 50/50 chance? Is this JUST 3.0 or 3.5 as well? It's probably well known, but I haven't seen it...

    D&D 3E/3.5 Base Race for 3.5e Dragonborn

If you have Dragon Magazine, Ice Paragenasi have +4 Con too and actually have less penalties than Mongrelfolk, IIRC, and Dragonization(that should be a word by now) doesn't remove much. Artic Template makes a lot more sense with these guys.

I punch you, you explode! A question about monks...

Psychic Warrior is he default Tash class but Ardent with Practiced Manifester is better if you want to be more balanced instead of simply being a beatsick. It also gives you an antipsionic field and enforces psio-arcane transparency if not already in place, making you a powerful mageslayer(just...

    Character help

Samurai used bow and arrow on a horse more than actual katanas in pracical combat, IIRC. Katanas were more a symbol, used in duels for the sake of tradition and stuff, rather than because they were their weapon of choice.

    Help me kill my party

Ermmm...I notice you have Knowledge Devotion as a first level feat. How is this possible when the prereq asks for 5 ranks in a Knowledge skill? Shouldn't you only have had 4 ranks at level 1? Anyway, on topic. It's basically you(cleric) and a Psion Spy vs a Paladin and a Rouge without UMD? Why...

    Arcane Prestige Classes

Sword of the Arcane Order. Very setting specific cos it's tied to a specific god, but most reasonable DMs will just let that slide. Don't see a reason why it wouldn't wirk, but then again, I don't have the book on me now.
