Thanks. A Wizard at second level can cast only 0th and 1st level spells because he has those slots available. But since he is at level 2, can he still gain a level 2 spell (since I assume he can cast a level two spell scroll).

I'm a bit confused by the known spells list. The list in 2-5 and 2-6 are slightly different. Why in table 2-6 does it say 4 0 level and 2 1st level but then in the table 2-5 it says 3 first level spells? Is the extra from the all cure/inflict choice?

I'm wondering...how many people here have stuck with one character and survived from 1st to at least 10th level? 20th? I'm wondering how often this happens. This is only an assumption, but I assume that a great majority of games either don't end up getting finished because of various reasons...

Kara-Tur. Those are good prices. There's a FLGS around here in Seattle, where they sell lots of old BD&D, AD&D stuff for around $5-$10.

Rogues don't get feats they get talents? I see nothing that says they get feats at every other level. Just talents from their talent list. Is this correct? edit: ok...I don't see anywhere in the core rulebook that states how many feats you get per/level...where is this?

I'm making an Elf. They have a -2 mod to their Con. I have 20 points to spend. I want to raise it to 17. Base score starts at 10 (using Pathfinder rules). So, initially it is at 12 and I want to raise it to 17. Does it cost me 13 points, or 7 points?
